@xdrummerxloserx I would recommend 6 bags, each back of hair can make about 15ish dreads (SE dreads) and about 10 double ended dreads :] if your just starting out with then its good to start with about 60-70 justs so your noodle gets use to them, after that you can put in more :] hope that helps
@xdrummerxloserx If you are braiding them in these ones will lay just above the elbows(from the bottom of the head to the top) ,I make longer ones the same way, I just use a longer length of hair. when I was making these pink ones I was asked to cut them down 5 inches. Double ended Dreads are length adjustable the bend in the middle can be placed anywhere and that can add length to dreadfalls and make them look layered too

How would you make dreads that reach half way down your back? the ones I see being made in tutorials are usually only shoulder length.
