Everyone wondering assassins creed 2 is placed in the 1400's in Italy. Altiar is not the assassin in this one. Remember though he was only one of Desmond's ancestors. The new character has a whole lot of abilitys that altiar didn't. Hiding spots have changed and he AI is very good if u hide in the same spot they will find u. Citys are strung all over the country side instead of just three big ones. You can swim. The assassins name is Ezio Auditore. You have many weopens in this one. Mace,Axe,ect
