The past is constantly being repeated. This repetition of the past costs the life of millons of innocent people. Children , these little angels, lose their lives in the name of Peace. This is the excuse governments come up with.Let's hope 2010 will make governments wiser.
Why is it so easy for us as a society to forget these images in the call to arms, fighting terrorism, WMD's etc. This is the reality, the end product so to speak. As I look at the faces, I wonder what happened to those children, what did they become, as they are now the elderly people in these same pictures if taken today. I shed tears for the continual loss of innocence and beauty that can make up our world should we so choose.
Such powerful images and music Alacazam, Excellent. I look at all those anonymous faces, all of them experiencing the same emotions as all of us, ie, love, loss, memories, pain. And now, they are all dead and forgotten.
I wish..., sadly there is too much death and destruction happening every day. We have so much potential, to do things we can dream of, and yet... power, greed, ignorance, etc. all these things rob us of the best we can be, this video is just a record of another time, I could have made the same video using images from today. All the best. :)
Also to balance out the obviously political comment I already made in reply to dc8wg, I just wanted to say I love your videos alacazam, and this is something every kid out there needs to see to remind them that war isn't the glory represented in Call of Duty.

My father was a soldier in WWII and he told me and my siblings, many tragic stories from this horrible war. How he held a dying friend in his arms, as he took his last breath.. The horrors of war, can only be understood by those who experience it. The innocent always pay the price.... Whatching these "children of war" was painful and your music shows your compasion for these unfortunate kids, beautiful work!! I just wish I could hold them all, especially the children at 1:23..1:39.. 1:44..sad!!
Even now, in the 21'st century, where you would think that the human race had become wiser... We STILL!! have wars.. I wish we could rid this planet of the powerfreaks and warmongers... I keep seeing the pictures of these children.. The boy at 1:24 looks so sad, lonely and scared...
