Excelente video me volvio a emocionar y recordar a una de las unicas personas que he sentido una gran admiracion desde muy niño y hoy tengo 46 años y siento que la muerte de Jacques Custeau fue una gran perdida para la humanidad.
long ago I watched a video from jacques cousteau with calypso chasing dolphins and then someone swimming with humpback whales, with a baby one too, anyone knows where I might find it?
WOW! Great work Ineffable Presence...you have reduced this human being to tears. This composition reaffirms why I did my first SCUBA dive in 1966 and why Jacques Yves always was, and always will be, ''Mon Commandant".... I thank you!
Es emocionante , grandioso, comparto la pasion por el buceo ,es un mundo magico..CUIDEMOSLO....creci viendo los documentales de Jacques Y Cousteau, muy bueno tu video..
Great achievement, great 'argument' in pictures and sound. Cousteau was a truly extraordinary man, and this video does him and his work justice. Well done!
I need to start reading his books. This dude is quite an inspiration. I remember hearing all about him as a kid. But right now, it seems quite inspiring to see what he has done, and how much we've had success in using what he has created, and researched. It's ashame that I forgot him. I am glad I've rediscovered someone so great.
Just wonderful. A beautiful job. I thank you for posting. I was a member of the Cousteau society as a kid and have such fond memories. For many as children their first experience with death was the loss of Mr. Hooper on Sesame street. For me it was sharing the loss of his son Philip. Something I grew up with and I am so very thankful for what he showed to us, gave to us.
Bless you Calypso and all who sailed with you. May you never be forgot.
I think I fell in love with the wonders of what is under the sea through Jacques Costeau's wonderful and passionate film work... he was a pioneer in more than one way, inventor of the aqualung, many undersea filming techniques, and of course giving us the first glimpse of what lies beneath the waves of our undiscovered world. Through his eyes I learned to appreciate that still mostly unfathomed country that lies so close to us.
This video footage is so amazing. It made me cry. There will never be another Jacques Yves Cousteau, we can however show our appreciation for what he instilled in us by doing all we can to help save the marine life. This planet will cease to exist without it. People "can" still change what is happening, but if this situation is ignored and plastics continued to be used and thrown in our oceans.. the concequences will be unbearable. We love you Jacques!!!
I fell in love with the sea and Jacques Cousteau when I was 12 years old and saw one of his documentaries at the movies. What a fantastic life he lived! the music and tge video are fantastic!
THIS WAS THE MAN WHO CHANGE MY LIFE THE FIRST TIME WEN I HEARD FROM HIM WAS BACK IN 1985 WEN I WAS A KID MY MOTHER BUY ME A BOOK CALL COUSTEAU THE DIVER THERE WAS WEN I PUT DIRECTION TO MY LIFE YEARS AFTER I DISCOVER IN REAL LIFE WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT THANK CAPTAIN JAQUES YVES COUSTEA AT THE ETERNITY

From birth, man carries the weight of gravity on his shoulders. He is bolted to earth. But man has only to sink beneath the surface and he is free.
