  • The Beatles should've called it a day when Brian Epstein died - they could have gone out on a high with Sgt.Pepper and not ended up at each others throats like a bunch of old women. They were all composing seperately anyway by then, and could have kicked their solo careers off with the tracks from the 'Mystery Tour' E.P!

  • All right, John. I'm a good thirty years too late, but I'll bite.

What *was* going on backstage? What *was* that 'Paul and John' business?

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you John, for being bluntly honest. "Well, then screw you, brother." Never get tired of dry British attitudes.

  • John loved Yoko, so just STFU!

  • John is amazingly articulate. No one sticks up for themselves better than John.

  • Screw you brother.

  • "Everybody's Got Something To Hide except For Me and My Monkey" is playing in the background. Very fitting.

  • @Denthedragon thats revolution

  • I agree with John,He controls his own destiny because nowadays the Industry is full of faggots tryna manipulate people with their evil spells.....Long live The Great John Lennon

  • when john says that if we have a connection to his life or to his music etc then he says then screw you im not here for you. does that mean he doesn't care about his fans?? i think i misunderstodo what he said at that part can someone please explain it?

  • JOHN Y U SO UGLY

  • @rupilan people wonder why you act like a cunt you know. go to a video you like and stop trolling

  • whats this whole 'john and paul' thing? whats going on with that? hahaha john never fails to make me laugh

  • The Beatles broke the Beatles up. Yoko may have caused additional friction toward the end, but it was going to happen, anyway. All sorts of people, including the Beatles members themselves have described the dynamics of the break-up,but people still insist on laying blame on Yoko Ono. Take the time to research a little. I've never been nuts about her as an artist, but I'm not going to demonize her for something she isn't responsible for.

  • @diewasseratte YES THANK U PAUL EVEN SAID IT ON THE NEWS! NO ONE WILL BELIEVE ME THOUGH

  • @diewasseratte That was a wonderful diatribe, and I almost believed it...almost. Truth is that a woman will always be the downfall of man. It's been proven throughout history. John lied about Yoko's influence just like he lied about "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" NOT being a song about LSD. I feel sorry for those who are too ignorant to realize this.

  • @happy543210 I really don't care who you consider ignorant. Opinions from misogynist trolls are usually pure bosh. Yours is not different.

  • @diewasseratte You have no facts to back up your assumptions. You're just another idiot who thinks they have the whole universe figured out. So, from one troll to another...go fuck yourself!

  • @happy543210 Congratulations. You've just proved my point.

  • @happy543210 Hah, you're so ignorant it's sad. Downfall of a man? Yeah, maybe for you, John was madly in love and I suppose you envy his ability for that. Women are not for everyone, but saying a stupid generic comment like "woman will always be the downfall" is plain retarded.

  • @diewasseratte Thank you. I get a kick out of the hate-filled self-proclaimed "Beatle fans" who vilify the very thing Lennon loved more than life when he was alive -- Yoko Ono. If John could come back, he'd kick 'em all in the ass.

  • JOHN Y U SO PRETTY.

  • Anyone and everyone who has problems criminological can identify with the sentiments of Bryan Ferry concerning the necessity of murdering one's lost lover. A bitch, a twitch, a convenient ditch, 2 shells traversing at divergent angles provide for another woman/another chance.

  • Yoko... beautiful inside and out. :O.

  • i get it that people hate yoko.....but ask your self why you hate her!! ok..maybe you thnk that she split the beatles and all that! dont get me wrong i love the beatles but they didnt split because of her! all good things must end!

  • the beatles broke up the beatles. get over it and love the music , not the drama.

  • @theclitmaster666 Well said! Truth. Some people HAVE to blame someone, it's convenient for some to blame Yoko.

  • @dougalmac54 You totally get it. The blame game is what leads all to demise. John Lennon died because some fucker decided to blame him with a bullet. Dimebag died on the same day Lennon died for the same reason. Let the music get you off on people, do not let it make you want to off people.

  • John obviously had a gay crush on Paul

  • TIME WOUNDS ALL HEALS INDEED JL!

  • It's like beating a dead horse... Stop trying to hold on to the past as if it is the present. "The only one that can control me is me and that's just barely possible." That's life and this topic is lame then and is still lame now...

  • People's fascination with John's relationship with Yoko is mind boggling. He chose to be with her, deal with it. As he said in this audio clip, he didn't give two hoots what anybody thought and why should he? It's nobodies business. Should he have lived his life for others? Should he have surveyed the fans every time he was confronted with a decision? He was a musician and a peace activist, what little he had of his private life was his own.

  • does anyone in the world like yoko.

  • @mikeystheone I do, so there. I know a coupla other ppl who do, too.

  • True free-market capitalism produces a millionaire now & then; corporatism with its inside-trading, bribery and mobsterism produces billionaires.

  • @SummerInJuly couldnt agree more ...but i dont see the relevance to the john lennon vid ?

  • @TheMichaelseymour : John Lennon was a millionaire.

  • I see brilliance in this interview. I really do! I've actually thought about that bit at the end there: "I don't think anybody should be THAT interested in every detail of my life...." We definitely "stalk" our heroes a bit too much sometimes... Love this man (:

  • TheLongAndWindingRd sure had one long winding pointless comment that got 36 thumbs.... P.S john no one questioned you and paul being together because paul didnt sing like a chimp in a bear trap... and inspire you to create shitty songs about how you love him....

  • I guess 'angry' is in there to get people to watch; John was explaining things, not really 'lashing out'. Sensationalism really hurts youtube.

  • Yoko was simply a woman in love with a man who loved her back. No controlling anyone. They were just in love. I wouldn't say Yoko broke them up. I think their break was simply based upon the four of the Beatles all wanting to do different things. I suppose the reason everyone hates Yoko and thinks she's controlling John is because everyone has pinned her with the breakup of the band. Nobody tried to blame anyone else's girlfriend/wife for the breakup of the band. Why is Yoko always to blame? It

  • john u in heaven. but the devil cant wait to take yoko to hell :D

  • @r0b3rt0nr8x what makes you think John lennon's in heaven. This man wanted to imagine "there was no heaven"?this man felt he and his friends were "more important than Christ"!!think again...

  • @onlyjoetee You're right he's not in heaven cause it doesn't exist numbnuts!

  • @murderousbastard83 Jesus Christ said heaven exists, you say it does not,so who should the world believe?hmmmm

  • @onlyjoetee L. Ron Hubbard said theatens exist. Muhammed said Allah exists. Joseph Smith said that a new chapter in the Bible existed. The Nation of Islam said Wallace Farad Muhammed existed. Are you gonna believe those assholes too cause they said those things existed? How gullible are you? Does Santa Claus exist as well? I don't give a shit what some cult leader says, it doesn't make it true.

  • @murderousbastard83 Jesus The Christ Himself spoke about Heaven and Hell continually,do you think he was Lying? If so fine, that up to you,One day you will find out for yourself weather Heaven and Hell exist or not, thats for sure...Good luck..

  • @murderousbastard83 Scientology is man made,Allah is simply the Arabic word for God,The Bible is complete and perfect in itself, for it was not compiled by the will of man,Wallace Farad was a man who existed like you and me,he even has prison records you can check.Jesus The Christ was either telling the truth,or he was a liar, simple as that, you decide..Good Luck.

  • @onlyjoetee Man are you gonna be pissed when you find out you've been wasting your time on a pointless religion for nothing. Just be a good person whether there is a God or not. Do you really need the fear of hell to scare you into being good like a child? I doubt it. not unless you were a childish, selfish loser. Those are the only ones that actually need religion to fool them into being good. The rest of us will do fine without it.

  • @murderousbastard83 every man thinks whatever he is doing is right regardless,so there must be a standard of righteousness, and this standard must be dictated by something higher than man,for man did not create himself. If man could do fine without a standard, one would not have been provided. If you think the universe you live in has no creator and ends at your 5 senses then fine.Hebrews 9;27 it is appointed unto man once to die, then the judgement.this is either true or a lie,we shall see.good luck

  • @onlyjoetee No sir. I don't believe the universe was created at all. Because it has always existed. It doesnt need a creator. For that to be the case the creator would have to exist outside of existence, which doesnt make any logical sense. But believe what you like to help you get through the day. Just don't judge people like John Lennon, who has done more for people and inspiring the peace movement then I expect you ever will with your Chrisitian values.

  • @murderousbastard83 You ask me not to judge Lennon, and in the same breath you judge me.Everything that is created must have a creator!I never argue with atheists about the existance of God,its like arguing with a lonely person about the existance of love.God needs no defending,He said Himself, Jeremiah 33;3Call unto me,and i will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not. Those who talk peace all the time like Lennon are always the violent themselves!!

  • @onlyjoetee You keep spitting scripture to me like it's suppose to inspire me or change my views, but all it does is remind me how it was written by some ancient dumbass who thought they knew what morality was and expected it to apply to something like today's standards. Which it doesn't. I'm not judging you. From what kind of person you have shown me that you are, you have proven your predictable mentality which is similar to all other narrow minded Chrisitans. Not everything is black and white

  • @murderousbastard83 The word of God is a consumuing fire, the results of a consuming fire are not determined by your belief of it.Fire doesnt wait to see weather you belive it before it burns, see.Mine is just to speak it.Narrow minded,a very interesting phrase, always amuses me,that the more foolishness you accept, the more this world applauds you as being open minded.Jesus actually said the road to life was "narrow" LoL..

  • @onlyjoetee Sir, please try to make at least a little sense when engaging in a conversation. Thank You.

  • @onlyjoetee more lennon rubbish. i find it funny that he brings up the emeror has no clothes. his fits lennon better then anyone else i can think of.

does it ever dawn on people that Lennon was just a complete moron who happend to be a good song writer.

go lie in bed for peace john. idiot.

  • @45arther Violent people like John Lennon always embrace peace obsessively to try and cure themselves or something LOL like vegetarians and vegans supress their killer instinct because they think its not "nice" yet crave meatlike foods LOL its actually quite funny.Suicide bombers actually greet eachother with the word peace, ironically LOL..

  • Yoko intruded BIG TIME into the studio sessions. That was John's fault for not telling her to stay the **** out. Linda basically just came in and did pics then left. No music advice was given by her. Yoko's "art" is extremely grinding on the senses. She wasn't the sole reason for breaking them up but she sure as hell didn't help matters. George even bitched about her to show you how bad things were with her in the studio.John did love her though so I will leave it at that.

  • Lennon/McCartney lyrics are like Cereal if you split them up there's just something good missing.

  • COMIC SAAAAAAANS!!!!

  • yoko ono sucks

  • All four of the Beatles knew that they could be a financial sucess on their own, therefore they branched out and the end of the Beatles was inevitable. No one or woman broke up the Beatles, except the Beatles themselves.

  • 00:55 Paul putting John under a spell

  • wilfrid55,, He knows all, sees all, catch his act at your local church this Sunday.

  • John cannot go to heaven...first of all, he doesn't even believe the bloody place exists! And if it does exist, god won't let him in cause he didn't believe in it...so there ! Let that be a warning to all you filthy, bloody atheists out there...if you don't believe in heaven, then you can't go there when you die ! god won't let you ! OK?!?

  • My respect for John and his love of Yoko, and his dream of the possibilities of people living in harmony was the template for me becoming a better human being. and for that I cannot thank him enough. The greatest Rock and Roll band lives in Heaven, and if and when we all get there. Be sure to thank John for his lovely contribution to mankind and life on this world.

  • @StarVoyager9 He was a arrogant and often violent man, the peace bit was just publicity, he only came out with that crap during the hippy movement to prolong his popularity.

People Don't like facts, he dumped his first wife and child in exchange for fame, does that equal peace and love?

He chose yoko, she did not break up the Beatles, John and George decided enough was enough, Paul wanted to continue but was strong armed out by the others.

John was a great singer/songwriter.. but no Bloody saint

  • @26highstreet Listen, I realize that there were moments. With his family. his band mates..we all have moments. I could tell you some things but really, other than a few others. nobody really knows the entire detailed story about John in later years. Suffice to say, he played his cards close to his chest. He was traumatized at a young age. Essentially abandoned...he got married too young, success too young/ These events have adverse effects on anyone. I'll leave it at that....

  • @26highstreet i agree with everything you say, except for the wife bit.John didnt dump cynthia for fame,he was already one of the most famous human beings on the planet when he met yoko and divorced cynthia. That move was definitely not a gimmick, that was for real,no doubt about it!

  • John Lennon loved this woman, fair enough, just a shame he had to sacrifice the Beatles to be with her

  • @onlyjoetee Just think if it weren't for that darned Yoko the Beatles could still be together today, performing medleys of their greatest hits at the Flamingo in Vegas. Donny and Marie could MC. How friggin magical.

Seriously: Even George has said Yoko had nothing to do with the band's break-up and he didn't even like her. Get over the stupid Yoko hate already. It's irrational.

  • @NotADood i dont hate Yoko, she may not have been THE reason the beatles broke up,but she was a definitely a major factor,no doubt about that, regardless of what George said.and thats not irrational,She injected herself into their working structure,do you imagine that helped or not?

  • @onlyjoetee John invited her into the studio.

  • @NotADood imagine if john lennon had never met this woman, and any of the other 3 Beatles decided to park his wife permanently in the studio.what do you imagine he would have had to say about that!

  • @onlyjoetee That's on him now isn't it.

  • @NotADood the universal dislike of yoko ono is not just based on her role in the band break up(which was major). Its her actual energy. She's a devious, manipulative.passive aggresive type and people can actually feel it.She was jealous of Johns relationship with them.watch John and Paul playing 2 of us in let it be,and study the look on her face.It speaks volumes!!

  • @onlyjoetee It's based on bullshit. "Manipulative," "passive aggressive," and "jealous" are all just sexist stereotypes. And anybody who was in or around the Beatles at the time has said unequivocally that she had nothing to do with the band's disintegration, which started before any of them had even met Yoko.

  • @NotADood she admits HERSELF that she is a passive aggresive, and they are the most manipulative people on earth.and you think Yoko Ono had nothing to do with the Beatles as a group breaking up,the you are either very naive, very young, very stupid or all three!!

  • @onlyjoetee "...they are the most manipulative people on earth..."

    Who's "they" exactly?

  • @NotADood passive agressives..

  • @NotADood the best thing about this woman is that she turned up late, when most of their work had been been done. She could have turned up in 1966 and fucked them up then.Lets at least thank God for that. She actually claimed not to have heard of the Beatles when she met John Lennon,AND HE BELIEVED IT!lol, can you imagine that?a person alive in the 60s who hadnt heard of them?THATS how manipulative she is!!She must have laughed at him behind his back constantly!

  • @onlyjoetee She was an avant garde artist and classically trained musician from Japan. Doesn't sound like somebody who'd be real into britpop.

  • @onlyjoetee What does John and Paul making googly eyes at each other have to do with Yoko? She doesn't have telekinetic powers, hon.

  • It really hurts when u learn what an ass ur idol is.

  • @rainbowgirl678 that teaches you never to make any human being your "idol"....

  • Oh, John, here's to your subconscious betraying you. You practically confirmed all doubts about you and Paul with this.

  • john doesnt exist anymore however his music is indistructible its 2011 john been gone since 1980

  • screw you brother or sister thats great

  • People who trash Yoko don't know what they're on about. The Beatles as a band were over when Paul McCartney filed for dissolution.

  • @stayjit1 He did that because he had no other choice. John had left the band months before.

  • @stayjit1 You're right about Yoko not being the reason for the break-up. But John left the band first, Paul just was the first to go public.

  • yoko smoko poko poop doop troop

  • ..is Elliot Mintz speaking at the beginning?

  • @SoraTheEntertainer Yes its from the 'Lost Lennon tapes' which Mintz hosted on radio

  • John spells it out in this interview (and doesn't "lash out" at all) and all of the comments are guilty of exactly what he is spelling out.

Stick to the music, folks. All geniuses are wacky in some way. Look at Einstein's love life.

  • he was a spoilt brat he always was he negleted his own family for the joy of himself his son julian has a wonderfull soul and personallity i wish he would sing again

  • wait this is john lashing out?

  • [Lennon] adds that he had never met an attractive woman that had sexually aroused him to any great degree.

The link to the quote above is on my channel it's a nbcphiladelphia com link.

I think Yoko came as close to a PAUL replacement while being female and more acceptable. The crazy reactions to Yoko would pale in comparison to the scandal of two men outed as lovers.

  • sorry John.. I don't like Yoko...

you've called her a slant eyed bitch yourself..

    you know it.

guys.. they weren't perfect together.. every relationship has problems..

I don't think they were that great of a couple...

    I prefer Lennon/McCartney.... better yet.. McLennon ;)

  • @miss9starr7 How about LcCARTNEY?

  • @miss9starr7

amen to that! another thing that makes me cringe: people who think they are so endlessly alternative and open-minded because they preach people to love Yoko because 'John loved Yoko thus if you dislike her you're not a fan' ..I mean, really? I'm not a fan because I disagree with choices he made? Sure..

  • @MsMonsha Couldn't have put it better.

  • @miss9starr7 McLennon...I really like that haha I'm gonna post that on something lol

  • @miss9starr7 i like how you talk to him like he's reading your comment

  • @miss9starr7 go fuck yourself

  • @miss9starr7 Who the hell are you to pass that kind of judgement? He was obviously in love with her. How could you insult someone's love? Acting as if you know who he should love! John and Paul didnt get along because they were going in different directions. They valued different things and had different goals. If you prefere John working with Paul over John being happy with Yoko, it is because you are selfish and only care about what John has to give to you.

  • @miss9starr7 If you look carefully at the relationship between John and Yoko you see he was always trying to pretend everything was all right. But that was not the case....sorry...

  • @doublefantasy77 i agree

  • @miss9starr7 when did he call her a "slant eyed bitch" what interview was this o.o

  • @miss9starr7 As RaqifHart asked, when did John call her a 'slant-eyed bitch'? And you said, 'yourself', meaning you have also made a racist remark? I can't believe your racist comment against Asian people has received 24 thumbs up. For somebody who obviously loves the Beatles and what they stood for, i.e. love, peace, harmony and understanding, your comment shows a complete lack of any of those qualities.

  • @miss9starr7 I bet JL would be really upset by your deeply informed and insightful perception of their relationship. FYI, there's numerous quotes of JL crediting Yoko as his main source of creative inspiration. You see what ignerent Cunt's like you fail to undersatnd is the very reason why JL and his relationship with Yoko was so special was despite all the bullshit & flack he took from moronic, vindictive & voyeristic shite's like you, he still Loved her, unashamedley & relentlessly.!!!

  • @miss9starr7 You prefer your own opinion, John loved Yoko, you're a BS manure spreader, missypantiesinawad. Get over your weal, judgmental BS about Yoko. John loved her, and who ever said ANY relationship is perfect. John and Yoko would be the first to admit they had their ups and downs. But they loved eac other, and they don't have to justify that to anyone, especially goofy noobs like you. Get a life!

  • Yoko is completely repulsive on every level.

  • @tomcat13claws You are right on. I have loved the beatles my whole life. they were the reason I became a musician. I still, to this day, love their music. But I will never understand Johns' love for her. John Lennon was my idol. But I feel he forced this woman down the publics' throat. Yeah, I know, who am I to question his love for her. Bullshit! The whole world wanted the Beatles....not hearing Yoko "sing." And if she didn't "break-up the Beatles" she certainly played a MAJOR role.

  • @njviewer You poor clueless bastard LISTEN to the comments John makes in this video. If you LISTEN to John at all, you can clearly hear that he's his own man, not some Yoko puppet. You insult John's intelligence and his integrity as a human being. You loved The Beatles all your life, huh? BS! You loved your narrow little small minded image of who YOU think The Beatles ought to be. It's self serving crapola. The Beatles broke up because that's where it was logically heading. NOT Yoko.

  • @dougalmac54 Who the hell are you to call me narrow-minded? I maintain that the world did not want to hear Yoko sing, they wanted to hear John. Is any of Yokos' stuff on your ipod? John insisted that every other track on Double Fantasy be hers which I would imagine a lot of people weren't too happy about. And I SAID she had a major role in breaking up the Beatles, not 100%! It's a fact that Paul, George and Ringo didn't care for her being in the STUDIO (with a BED no less ) towards the end.

  • @njviewer

Actually, I've got some Yoko Ono on my iPod... I recommend the 16-minute version of "Mind Train", on which Lennon cooks up a jagged freight train rhythm while Yoko intones some chilling, paranoid, fragmentary lyrics, and comes close to reaching the ideal that was the goal all along-- to use her voice as a fifth instrument, in a free-jazz-informed sort of way. It has as much gravitas as Led Zeppelin, when you hear it right. I don't care for her stuff after the first two albums, tho.

  • @njviewer Actually John planned on it being a solo record. Yoko was working on divorcing him while he was in Bermuda..but changed gears once she found out he was writing again. For anyone that doubts Yoko's true intentions I recommend you learn about her marriage to Tony Cox and her setting John up with May Pang and later splitting them up (after hearing he was going to be on Venus and Mars which would be HUGE towards a Beatles reunion).

  • @tomcat13claws you're a dumbass

  • John was really smitten by Yoko. Maybe 'ts hard for us to understand what he sees in her but definitely John sees something in her we couldn't see.

  • @wildwestpoint I can understand what it was. She was fey like John's sister Julia said on a video her on YT and was very smart and a artist. I'm NOT a fan of her's and think she was a very manipulative person who planned and plotted everything she wanted. She was jealous of Paul and did her to keep them apart.

  • no man deserves to be criticized for stepping out of the house with a woman, put the cameras down and let the human being live his life, would he speculate about your life the way the media did about his? fuck no its cruel

  • That's the point... noone accused Paul of controlling John because they had a reason to be together: making history.

John and Yoko, on the other hand, created nothing good together... hence, the "spell" being the only reason why he'd stay with that bitch instead of continuing his mission with the Beatles.

...John was a genius, but not too smart... like most artistic geniuses.

  • Double Fantasy is one of the greatest albums. I always hated Yoko but now I am grown and I have to admit that her songs are those I love on DF album, not John's. I had to reconsider may point of view, do you really think that Yoko is that bad? Do you thing that someone like John Lennon would that stupid to be with someone realy bad? I admire him and I thing that none of you know Yoko so GIVE HER A PIECE

  • Lennon is kidding himself here - Yoko may not have "controlled" him exactly, but she certainly dominated him. During his "lost weekend" years in L.A. when he was recording, drinking like a fish and completely miserable, he'd phone Yoko and BEG for her consent to come back to NYC, and she would say "No, not yet" etc. etc. I mean, this is a guy who referred to Yoko as "mother"!! JL was and is one of the all-time musical greats, but he was also an emotional basket-case.

  • @dumont1957 In Britain its fairly common to refer to a wife or gf that way.

  • @dumont1957 who are we to judge anyones personal path/relationships?? How do you know what John Lennon learned from being with Yoko. Live your own Life..

  • @dumont1957

    I Cant find this recording anywhere ;_;

Do you remember where you heard it?

  • Psychology explains his love for Yoko.

Nothing like the past to expose our problems.

  • wow talk about your bromance between them! (john and paul that is)

  • yoko sucks...

  • John said so himself- he's a grown man and nobody controls him-he has proven so many times hes more than capable of standing up for himself and got quite nasty at times even- he's no coward or weakling.

  • I think that if you think ill of Yoko then SCREW YOU and shutup already

  • You know what's really eye opening here. The nunber of people who STILL harbor ill will towards Yoko...my god, people are giving thumbs up to some random person calling her an 'ugly bitch'....grow the fuck up, to put it bluntly. John adored her, she was his soulmate and it's quite eye opening to see just how many people think so poorly of her. John said IN THIS VIDEO above, " Because that's your problen what you think of Yoko, what I think of her is what counts." - Words of wisdom, John.

  • @TheLongAndWindingRd Exactly. Any Lennon or Beatles board you go on, all it is is people trashing Yoko, like they know something about what on between them. Yeah, they had their ups and downs, well-documented, but they were still together, still in love when John died. The whole world wanted to blame somebody for the breakup of the Beatles, and John gave them the perfect foil. A quiet, avant garde, Asian woman: who better to portray as the villain.

  • @MckyMseNTarotCrds - Good points. Sir Paul has said over and over in numerous interviews over the years that Yoko had nothing to do with the Beatles breaking up....guess who ultimately did break up the Beatles? The Beatles did.

  • @TheLongAndWindingRd Well, no offense, but you don't know if they're soul mates. No one knows who's meant for each other, so that's actually just your opinion.

  • yoko was in total control over lennon...john's family were totally left out of everything back home in england after his death...his aunts, uncles and cousind, not to mention his own son julian was never given the right to mourn over his death because of the dragon lady yoko....also his talent went down hill, other than a few good songs, after he left the beatles. his double fantasy album, other than a song or two is hard to listen to because yoko was on it

  • about double fantasy I do agree with you. It's sad because it's his last one, it hurts a little bit that it's not a pure Lennon work. Although Yoko's performance isn't bad at all in the lbum, I just wnted it to be a Lennon's artwork. About family business, they were all adults.Actually I don't think Lennon lost his talent when getting together with the dragon lady; she inspired him in a diferent way of the Beatles. that's all. Long live Lennon's memory.

  • @gazuaman I'm pretty sure "Dragon Lady" is a little offensive. But yeah, you're right.

  • Comment removed

  • @nestatheman you didn't unnderstood ny comment at all. If you read it more carefuly you'll find that I do think that her songs are suitable, but I prefered (I have the right to think that way, I guess...) that DF was a John's solo work. It was not what he meant, so what? Pleasant anyway! Besides, when Milk&Honey was released I thouht that was a nice work about John's and Yoko heritage. Call her a dragon lady is just fopr fun. Everyone says that and I think that she doesn't care for it anymore.

  • @gazuaman I'm sorry, I didn't mean it against your comment, it was more like general thought.

  • Quite honestly, I don't really care. I listen to Lennon for his music. And as long as Yoko made John happy, fine. I agree, I think Yoko hasn't done a whole lot to keep John's image and with the Julian/John's sisters thing is just wicked. I'll tell you this, Beatles fans have done more to save Lennon's legacy then Yoko.

  • It was his choice.

    Can you understand that ?

  • "I you think I'm under control like a dog on a leash because I'm with her then......Screw you brotha or sista!" - Johnny Lennon Quote to live by

  • man she really did control him... but i think john liked that she was a very controling person because he never really had a mother-figure in his life and he was very selfconcious, especially when he got older

  • My thoughts are that Yoko neither broke up the Beatles nor controlled John. How she behaved after John's assassination is another matter. When I can add something positive there, I will let you know.

  • He was in love. She rewoke the artist/rebel in him. All is fear in love and war..

  • yeah the title of this should be changed, he is hardly angry.

  • SHE DIDN'T CONTROL HIM OR BREAK UP THE BEATLES YOU SHOULD ONLY CARE THAT SHE MADE HIM HAPPY!

  • anybody know if theres somewhere you can hear the rest of the audio from this interview ?

  • GO TO HELL YOKO!!

  • @Beatlelover456 haha, and you say you're a beatlesfan? No you're not. How can you be a fan of john if you hate his wife?

  • @tuippe4 I do love John s WIFE, his first wife Cynthis Powell Lennon, mother of thier son Julian Lennon. A fact Yoko well knew to begin with, and no John is hardly blameless. And I do not hold Yoko againest Sean Lennon, he and Julian are the most inocent. But Yoko is a bitch on so many leavels.

  • @missgibbdreamer ok, so tell me, what has yoko done, why you hate her?

  • @tuippe4 How long do you have. She put Julian and John s cards / letters TO EACH OTHER UP FOR SALE, julian had to BUY them back, Any decent person would have GIVEN them to him. Yoko sold the house John wanted his SISTHERS to have. If Yoko was so into John she would have known AND carried his wishs out. . It seems Julia Barid, John s sither had letters and wittness. Sorry Yoko gave the house away. I have a long list but you get the point. I do not HATE Yoko, why bother. I do not RESPECT Yoko

  • @missgibbdreamer you dont have to waste your breath. theres enough people that heard alot of the acounts about what a bad person she was. even john was far from the peaceful prophet he was turned into to due to his death.

  • yoko bitch-o did not control him she is honestly a pice of shit

  • 'we are the ones that cast the spells' 1.43

  • John and Paul forever amen. They complete each other.

  • is this the playboy interview?

  • "What is that...Paul and John business? We would absolutely love to know that, John! lol

  • This guy narrating Elliot Mintz, has got to be the most anal rentive sounding speaker I`ve ever heard in my life.

  • @JamesTKirkCobain LOL! My thoughts exactly. I have a problem with the way he spins everything in these presentations. He's always been Yoko's toady.
