Any kind of tea: green, black, white, red rooiboss. I try to use tea bags that have been in my cabinets a while. If I'm not going to brew them for drinking, at least I get some use of them by incorporating them into recipes. Use tea in place of water for making grains, beans, soup broths and even shakes instead of milk as the base.
I want you to feel motivated to be active and eat well. So please be kind to yourself. Yes, I do use all organic foods. I have also switched to almond milk.
Just curious, the cocoa powder you put in, is that sweetened, or is it like baking powder? I'm not up on chocolate powders, except for the instant chocolate milk stuff that's less-than-healthy.
The cocoa is plain, unsweetened & non-dutched or non-alkalized. I found one raw powder called Cacao powder & another called Chatfield's. It is purported that the non-alkalized cocoa's have a higher amount of the antioxidant called Epicatecin but I believe that any chocolate will still have some of the antioxidant You may also find some non-dutched cocoas by doing an on-line search
Not sure if your question was rhetorical but I will answer...after my daily workouts of running and strength training, the shake helps me to replenish my fuel stores, satisfy my chocolate cravings and keep my blood sugar stable so I can keep going and going and going...Daily movement fueled by good energy enhancing foods & beverages, like my shake, are the keys to a flat stomach.
Hi Steve [my mailman] thank you. New video to be added this weekend. Now everyone knows I'm in cahoots with the mailman. Not sure if that means anything like it does with the milkman ;-)
What are "cahoots"? Is it some sort of vegetarian/soy/thermo-organic/nutriphysic food supplement derived from the curd of lactating howler monkeys? If I ever *see* a milkman, I'll ask him...yer a peach...I'll look forward for the next show...are you gonna leave anymore cookies in the mailbox? The oatmeal raisin were the best...had so much oatmeal in 'em I looked like the Quaker Oat Pilgrim [or Barbara Bush]after I ate them!...See ya soon.
