Wow...goosebumps. It's definitely a good take on the lost side of the rapture. I really love the character of the bum - it leaves so many things for the viewer to think about. Though I'm with Gollum37, I thought the bum laughing at the end felt a bit too maniacal. (Though I'm not sure what you were shooting for with it). I would've thought of having one laugh turn into a soft sob at the end.
