Wally's body is in Amsterdam on a graveyard. He died...let me think..i believe it was april 2005. I life in Den Helder/Holland and i know someone here who was a friend of Wally. He made a lot of Outsiders-pictures in the past for the records. I can ask him for more about it.
Since he always seemed to have a cigarette in his hand, I'm betting it was lung cancer. That was way too young to die. Thankfully, their music lives on. As I said I'm new to the band; and their singles collection CD hasn't left my player in almost two weeks.
Wally Tax was a person who loved the alcohol and the drugs (heroin), specialy when his lifetime girlfriend died. After that Wally did a lot of wrong things. As far as i know Wally died on cancer. But yes, the music is still great. I'm glad i saw them on their reunion-tour in 1997. Listen to the "CQ-sessions" ...that's great! Also their live numbers in the 60's.
Yes that's right...Ronnie Splinter on guitar. I saw The Outsiders live in 1997..i was standing before Wally...it was great! And believe it or not...i'm wearing now their t-shirt of that concert. Nice to hear you like this old 60's stuff from Holland. I think you know the singer Wally Tax died a view years ago?
Voor mij de beste song. van The Outsiders
Jammer , het kwam niet hoger dan een 10 de plaats in de Top 40. Stond er wel meer dan 15 weken in.

I just recently discovered The Outsiders. Love 'em. What happened with Wally dying in his fifties?

That must be Ron Splinter. I'll answer my own question.
