These trees are carved from trees that have either fallen or been cut down. They are inspired by the ancient art of Bonsai and only follow basic styling guidelines. The sculptures are not intended to look real. They are kept indoors so they will not decay. Some of the trees I made more than ten years ago and look the same as the day they were made. Kind of new to bonsai myself. Are your pieces still alive? If not does that still make them bonsai? Would they eventually rot away?
