Well, its a Swedish company, makes not just cars, but also trucks/buses (Scania) and SAAB stands for Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget..

ofcourse there was a period of GM ownership (89 - 2010) but SAAB is actually Swedish

I first saw the 2004 Saab 9-5 Wagon. That was like my all time favorite Saab. I loved the styling the crisp lines and its clean look. I hope Saab is still around so I can buy one of the new 9-5 wagons. That redesign is just amazing!
