I like the SS big ones! I wish they made them in titanium. Light weight AND tough as nails. Since it would last for a LONG time the price really wouldn't matter to regular users.
Larry thanks for the review on the KK but my self I just cant justify the price and weight either way for me I would be outside using this and It would be easier for me to use my billy can and a small camp fire these KK are very nice though
Thanks. I've been eyeing the Kelly Kettle as well as the Thermette, but the new Thermettes have been getting poor quality reviews due to the mfg in China.
You are welcome. The Kelly Kettle is a very high quality product. I recommend it to everyone. Plus, it is just cool to watch in action. Stop on back or subscribe, there will be more vids coming on gear.
Nice to see the KK family on there. you are correct in your e-mail to me about the fire pan. I did the stripped down version just so backpackers could see that you can save 5 or 6 ounces. Next time i bring the original pan.
Check out a svea123 it will give you HEAT when you really need it and a self contained boiling cup

Great review of the Kelly Kettle,
They look like a nice stove to use and are a good design. I like the optional pot and top stand. Thanks for sharing your review.
Take care,
