you must have never seen the BYU-Provo medieval club then, we did things similar to this since 1997

@1taffycat i saw some guys with 'real' medival weapons and stuff in the fieldhouse a couple times, from what I observed they weren't running around outside on campus full out killing each other. But I haven't been on campus that long, I don't know if times have changed or just that I haven't observed these full scale battles. Do you know?

@Zebeldarebel there's a couple of groups around BYU (some of them are BYU clubs and some aren't) the Quill and the Sword is BYU's medieval club which has been around since 1997 and although they did do some full scale battles similar to this they recreate a lot more of the history, not just the fighting which is why you probably didn't see much of them. The other groups around, Battlegaurd, Arma, etc. just do fighting. It all depends on how many people you have and where the battles happen.
