You could use the materials in the caps but for your body when you decide to leap from tall towers. I think the matrials would absorb all the shock on the ground keeping you from getting hurt of worst. If you could invent that ,I might try the leap of faith. But first I want to know how much shock can these things absord before putting a life on the line.

A invention like that could save lives if 9-1-1 ever happens again.

i think how much shock it can absorb depends on how much of the material you use per square inch or something~ or how dense you make it~ as in "how much flour per cup of water"~

@Revansmask17 I don't think it protects against sharp objects or explosions. The people in that plane and the building would of been incinerated instantly to within a couple of seconds. not to mention the sharp metal that would go through that stuff. Only for blunt trauma like hitting your head.

i know that howstuffworks (a website) did an article about new kevlar suits that hardened on impact, and were much lighter because they had been soaked in some kind of liquid, kinda the same as this. but again, thegadgetshow did this much later than howstuffworks
