It's not about being racist or not (unlike people like hamsupgoon here who call malays stupid and so on). It's about being realistic, and so it does matter. You can't say apple is mango and that telling lies is the same as telling the truth. They r different. The same goes with portray European characters in Malacca during the early to mid 1400s. The 1st Europeans didn't settle there until 1511. So, it is unrealistic & Malaccans wearing Malay costumes back then is realistic & should be the way.
