I think the reason why azarenka was up in the 1st and 2nd set is because she actually hits the ball harder than serena and serena didn't really make the points on those rallies.

As was said before, this is a kiss-off to the folks who assumed Serena would've lost last year to Azarenka were it not for her illness. Same for Clijsters had she not been gifted the last 2 points of the match. As a side note, I would be so lost mentally if one of my opponents started hitting winners left and right after I had a commanding lead (especially winners off of my serve, 1st and 2nd!).
