@tusarkhanx IMO, Star Ocean 2 and Valkyrie Profile (the original, or Lenneth if you prefer) represent the peak of Sakuraba's composing and he's never been quite as good before or since. I preferred those games to Uematsu and especially for me at the time that was very unusual. Though I must admit that some tracks from Tales of Symphonia are on the same sort of level.

@cristalia09usagi yah they do. This one was released on Jan. 19 2009 and the first one was released on Oct. 21 2008. You might have trouble finding a copy because its been a while since they were released. The one I have is used and I got it at EB games.

Did anybody notice? Sometimes there are different spellings of the charms. Some examples: Normally Rena says: "Haste!" But sometimes she says: "Oh, time!" Or this: Normally she says: "Disspell!" But at anytime she says: "Dissapear, you impure of peoples!" The same with Leon. The spell "Demon´s Gate" is spelled: "Demon´s Gate!" But sometimes he says: "Oh, monsters of the myteric worlds, next to me!!!"

At a certain point of the game you can rush through the game without doing optional bosses, but doing that gives u really low level. And that brings trouble.. Really then it's REALLY HARD !

Or best of all, the Burst Knuckle Butt~ram Technique. Max out your combat speed skill (forget the name. Gale?), and then you can stunlock enemies with Burst Knuckle, provided yuo hit them in the back. Claude ends up going faster than the sound can keep up with.

Star Ocean The Second Story is my favorite game of all time, it may also be the most underrated game because of the fact that it had limited copies in the US. such a shame, this game has more depth than any rpg today.

SO2 is, at least as far as my opinion goes, the best RPG out there with very few that even come close. Just about everyone I know who has played it agree it's one of the best as well.

Yes, its much better. From what I've played, about 2/3's through on the PSP version. Some definite plot twists I never even saw coming...which makes for a great RPG whenever your legitimately surprised.

The artwork of the original ps1 version is far cooler than this new psp stuff. more detail , sexy and mature the ps1 version rocks. Shame they changed it for the psp port but the music is classic, i played star ocean 2 to death back in the day.
