Maybe because pageants are not only judged on the pageant night itself. There are pre-judging activities that she might have scored really high on. She was really stunning in the cary santiago evening gown as well. Pageants are not always Luto, believe it or not. Its a series of activities where the ladies are judged according to criteria. The runner ups were both deserving to win as well, no doubt about that.
