  • Why do use use cymbals for heavy metal for this SHIT music?

  • I hadn't heard this song before I saw your video but I like the song better with more drums! Good job.

  • Hey dude! You are such a trashy drummer, i mean.... YOU SUCK, DICK. I really hate you in this moment. I think the best you can do with your drum sticks is stuck them up in your ass stupid asshole

Send greetings to Pasman, YOU HAVE IT INSIDE BITCH!

  • @TKisAsian would likely benefit from the correct use of punctuation and capitalisation.

  • you are off most of the time, stop caring about looks, your only shooting this from back of you. practice.

  • @TKisAsian I just seen your videos...you need to practice more on drumming than talking smack about others.

  • @cambonese and you sir, need to practice english

  • you suck at drums, only care about looks

  • you may drum good, but your facial expression is really sucked.. so i gave you a down

  • how do you split instrumental track of real video and take pace by your drum? thanks for the future for your answer.

  • @tongpeter2010 It's actually not split. I just play drums louder than the song.

  • do u use double pad?look weird from u knock the pad and the song view...im just saying :) what kit do u use?

  • @SamuelDawil It's a Pearl Session Studio. I use double-kicks but pretty unconventionally. My left hell is on the 2nd kick pedal while my left toes are on the hi-hat pedal.

  • Hey i've been playing with sarmagal for 5 years now, and i can assure you he rocks, and does the double beat with one foot. putos de mierda.

  • @MaidayPunk Haha....since you say so, this 'sarmagal' guy really must rock yeah? FYI doing double beats with 1 pedal or 2 pedals is just a matter of personal choice. Does not mean a single thing. If I can play a paradiddle with one hand - should I always just do it with one hand? It's just different mate. Everyone is different. When you grow up, you'll probably grow out of your egotistic world.

  • OH!

And you use a double-pedal!!!! Just to do that double beat between rythms.

Men, you are a fool. LEARN HOW TO PLAY. You can do that thing with a simple pedal, no use por the double one in your case.

  • @sarmagal Wow you're on a roll...two abusive messages in a row! I don't think it matters what drummer uses what to play beats? If someone can play a simple beat with their right hand, does that mean she shouldn't use the left hand (even if it's right there?) It really doesn't even affect you, but I guess a lonely immature person like you has nothing better to do but lurk YouTube and rain down insults on others. Some people....

  • @sarmagal LOL YOU TROLL. Funny how you have so much time to watch an entire video of someone who you think can't even play the drums properly... Perhaps you offer your services as a drum teacher since you think you can clearly do better? It'd probably be a good outlet for all the spare time that you have... and it will make you less perpetually bored with life. :)

  • Why do you use all this fu#$ing music to play along with?

Dont you have any brain? GLEE!!! LADY GAGA!! OMG!!!!

By the way, you really s&ck. You dont know even how to grab the sticks properly.

You should invest less money in Cymbals, and more in learning.

  • @sarmagal I actually can't believe you have this much time to write such immature comments. Firstly, everyone likes different sorts of music, there's no need to be a baby about other people using particular songs. If you don't like the song, have you considered just simply not watching it?

  • @missnanciepants LOL. All right, so im the one with spare time? What about you two guys, not only reading youtube comments, but ANSWERING!!

I watched this video to listen to the drums, but it made me terribly nervous listening to that lovely song, and how he played it.

I am from a third world country, and i cant understand how you people just throw money away, buying double pedals for example if theres no need to.

Lizzibeth and missnanciepants, you have it inside, like Pasman.

  • @sarmagal Yes I actually do have heaps of spare time. Clearly I'm a professional procrastinator!! :) And incidentally just because someone is geographically not from a "third world country" does not mean they "throw money away" - or even have the luxury (or the desire) to do so. It is an ignorant assumption to say "you people" terming all non-third-world country inhabitants and money-wasting fiends.

  • @sarmagal And also, it would have been really nice and heart-warming to see someone like you (who seem to posess superior drum-playing skills) to share your expertise in a nice polite manner instead of bitterly insulting people who are passionate about playing the drums / learning to play the drums.... :( What happened to helping others? Where is the love? Disappointing.

  • @sarmagal I am from a first world country, and I can't understand what you are saying. How can listening to a song make u nervous?? And what does "you have it inside, like Pasman" mean? Pasman is an island...

  • Why do you use all this fu#$ing music to play along with?

Dont you have any brain? GLEE!!! LADY GAGA!! OMG!!!!

By the way, you really s&ck. You dont know even how to grab the sticks properly.

  • Might just be me, but you use your double pedals ALOT, even when (in my opinion) it doesnt fit...

  • LIXOOOOO!

  • That was sweet, i wanted to see it all but anyways, im thinking about getting the shure srh 440 (your headphones) are they good?

  • @liedABOUTmyAGE Haha yeah I wish the ending was there as well! Yeah the SRH440 are awesome! Probably a tad heavy and bulky to bring around but I wear it around public transport all the time. You can't run with it though because it's too heavy and will fall off. Also, the cord is coiled and quite long so it's actually really annoying. If you're just using it for monitoring or home listening though, it's awesome. Great quality and terrific sound space!

  • I really like it from 2 mins in (y)

  • You've improved so quickly!

  • @Asianboya Thanks :) Wasn't aware you were tracking my progress haha. But yeah I think I have improved, miraculously through doing YouTube covers...ha

  • i enjoyed it with the music video. can you make a different song?

  • hey omg awesome drum cover!! love how u also incorporate the music video =) keep up the good work, duncan!!

  • Dude!! so amazing! the like thee best kit format ive seen. great cover! i can't go that fast on my double bass pedals. but really great!! howd you learn?

  • @redball35 thanks for the compliments :) yeah actually i can do the double kick beats alright but i can't actually do continuous double kick beats evenly! it's probably i use my own unconventional technique with my left foot (i use my left heel, so that my left foot toes can control the hi-hat pedal!) and yeah i've actually just learnt by mucking around. hopefully can get lessons one day!

  • @thedunnyman no way! thats the best technique ive ever heard! like i use my heel to do the drum pedal cuz its less work, but hi hat at the same time? interesting.. i love it!

  • @redball35 where are your covers!!! you should put them up on YT haha. yeah try out my foot technique, it will be weird at the start because you have to press probably with a bit more power

  • @thedunnyman true! but i broke my camera so i can't do any!:( and im not nearly as good as you!

  • @redball35 That's okay! I'll still await a cover from you :)

  • Nice !

  • great grooving duncan! thats awesome you had the music video included. :) nice touch.

    cheers

    matt

  • @drumgroovemusic thanks matt! still need to work on these cymbals sounding like yours!

  • @thedunnyman haha just buy some hhx evo's and they will. :) or if you're lucky enough to find some instanbul cymbals, get those.

  • nice beat keep it up

  • Great Remix Dunc. Sounds awesome, especially the toms. Love it. Question: How did you get your vid to stay on and not blocked or removed. Utube removed mine (same song) like after a few meager hours of posting :( Any tips?

  • @tnngng thanks tuan. i'm assuming you didn't get low frequency probs on your speakers? and not sure about the youtube thing.....it got flagged but didn't get taken down (as of yet)...fingers crossed!

  • @thedunnyman No Dude, Low sounds just perfect on my 7:1 Desktop Speakers system. Did u have to work much on tweaking the EQ on Adobe Audition to get such beautiful souinds?

  • @tnngng hey tuan, i'm glad the audio sounds alright! i probably have my subwoofer cranked up too high then haha. and I did the EQ in cubase actually. there's EQ on all 4 channels (kick/snare/rack toms/low tom). I just use some of their EQ presets and change it a bit. Bit of maximiser tweaking as well to get the kick drum coming out.

  • this is amazing, as ever :)

  • @EvilMatty12 thanks matt. you must always check your youtube haha. always one of my first commenters!

  • @thedunnyman yep always :D

  • Yay Duncan, a new video :D Great cover, i loved the beats you added to this song and the sound of your kit is awesome ^^

  • @ptitepoulettedu91 thanks chloe glad you liked it! i still neeed to work on my creativity skills but yeah its a work in progress :)

  • solid drumming, duncan! i especially like how you work on the bass drum. the toms also sound fine. :)

  • @Drumizta cheers stephen! i know i still need to work on my bass notes with fills but yeah...happy with this for now :)
