Amanda didn't die, but I imagine sure she was driven to near insanity after that, you see her later on in the movie in an airplane with her parents.

That's Wednesday's hobby, she doesn't necassarily kill people, she just likes to scare them to death. It's more fun knowing that the people live and fear you to the point where they tremble and scream in your presence. =)

Wednesday and the kid with the glasses had the ultimate victory in the play scene.

The set was burned to the ground; the annoying blonde girl was tied up and presumably burned; the kid dropped his annoying parents from the bleachers; and they both ride away on a boat with the best possible view of the destruction.

From 0:52-0:56, Wednesday looks like she was going to kill Amanda but, seeing Wednesday and Joel Glicker sail away from 1:08-1:14 makes it look like Wednesday set her free and seeing her on the airplane not harmed either. Of course, Gary and Becky Granger couldn't have saved her since they were tied up at 1:03 and Amanda's parents got stopped and probably blinded at 0:27 so they might not have saved Amanda from getting killed so I wonder if she escaped somehow or Wednesday released her.
