I am probably going to get killed but I prefer the other version of this zone. However this one sounds more like a stage than the other so this one is fine too. I like the upbeat tone of the other one more I guess
This seems like armageddon music, like in a future, humanity has done a complete exodus through a Stargate-like portal. There are only 3 people left on Earth to leave, and they've been held back by trouble: a teenage boy, a teenage girl, and a scientist. A black hole is beginning to tear Earth apart, and the three people are running through an abandoned metropolis (with utter chaos going on around them, no less) to reach the portal complex. The question is, will the music let them make it?!
@Kazuo1G Yeah Thats right)) Terra Nova is more suited to your story))) but I like the idea of scientist) and for some reason it reminded me "Fringe" with sonic music XD (sorry for bad english)
THEY SHOULD HAVE MADE MORE LEVELS LIKE THIS ON SONIC 3D WHERE THE MUSIC SUITS THE LEVEL AND THE PRINCIPAL IS FUNDAMENTALLY RUN AND JUMP ABOUT LIKE YOU HAVE ADHD TILL YOU FINISH COZ GETTING ALL THEM FLICKIES WAS A BIT OF A NEUSCIENCE THERE AGAIN IT WAS NESSACERY TO MAKE THIS LEVEL SO BUZZING SO MAYBE THEY WERE RIGHT. NICE UPLOAD MATE.
This game's music, apparently, supercedes, exceeds, and surpasses the actually gameplay (and this game's play value[?]) that there is in this game by more, more, more than a marked amount and extent.
This is something that I still recall since whenever it was in the friendly old '90s.
@Bernler75 After Gene Gadget, Panic Puppet is the next and last zone. If you have all the Chaos Emeralds, then after beating Panic Puppet's boss, you have one last fight, just like in Sonic and Knuckles.
Man I played the shit out of this game - loved this level, I remember the manual was like = "Sonic is catching up to Robotnik as he has no time to prepare any flicky badniks!" All the flickys were in capsules LOL, he did have enough time to make an epic 8-in-1 boss in the Final Fight though Lawl.
@KevykevHID I suspect it's the giant Eggman-bot that most of Act 2 is built around. Giant mecha aren't usually referred to as puppets, but it isn't an unreasonable thing to call them.
I personally don't think that this fits a final zone, but you got to admit, it's such a nice and beautiful song, and so nice to listen to. Curse that one person who dislikes this!
This song is so fitting for a final zone. It sounds so heroic and gives you that feeling of determination, but just by the way it sounds you can tell you're reaching the end. Same thing for Act 1, only this one takes it to the next level (pun not intended) and sounds almost scary at some points. I really hope they remix this for a modern game (Sonic Unleashed 2?) like they did Green Grove and Panic Puppet Act 1... The Genesis soundtrack is so underrated. :(
I didn't forget, and it's going to be uploaded some point today with a few other Sonic Advance extensions. Also, I didn't make an extended version of Sonic Generations' Green Hill Zone.
best zone music in the game. zone boss was decent...but the final boss was a fail...and the music didn't really appeal to me either like most others had...this would have been so perfect for the game's final boss.
Damn Sonic was a pure bad ass back then... I cud see why nintendo and sega were rivals both great companies but no offense nintendo isnt as good as sega n im not saying that cuz im a sonic fan but its true... hey you want proof look at Sonic3 and K best game ever... great gameplay music characters levels bosses and a perfect unforgettable story line that changed the way ppl saw Sonic... a bad ass at heart... plus it introduced the bad ass echidna Knuckles
no they are different. this one is the better of the two i think because it sounds more like a dance song while the first one was like "the almost last level, try and survive"
God, I was 10 years old playing this on Sega Saturn....I was so tense and my palms were so sweaty, unsure of what to find around each corner....great last level! :)
I loved to hear this song when i played 3D on Sonic Mega Collection Plus it really had that "You made it to the final level its the home stretch and there is NO turning back now!"
If you notice, this very game uses hip hop and rock, along with most of the trilogy. The genres, themselves, aren't what makes the music bad, but how it is created.
