they played a horrible set yesterday at the bandshell. the whole crowd was hipster infested and completely dead. Sonic youth was fucking epic tho. the encore was BEAUTIFUL
@iAmAsteroid I read about that in T.O.N.Y. but couldn't get to the show because I live in Cali. But in 1987 I was booking bands for a coffeehouse in Isla Vista, California called Borsodi's, and was lucky enough to book Sonic Youth, and they were just as amazing as today. I love the fact that after more than 20 years the fire is even stronger.
