What a great mixture to end the year Dave. I should be in Donegal today, but for the first time myself and my wife walked out of the departure lounge at Prestwick airport this morning as the winds gusted to 85mph, I was sure the flight to Derry would be canceled, but they started boarding an hour after the intended departure even although the winds were gusting and we both left as we didn't feel safe. The flight departed an hour after the Pax had boarded.

With regards to your own videos, make sure your file size is in line with your internet connection speed, e.g. for me a 200mb file (about 6minutes) would take about 1 to 1.5hours to upload. Also make sure you save your files in a format recognised by Youtube. Hope that helps.

The easiest place to film at Dublin is along the Old Airport Road if you look on google earth you will see a huge car park, it's easily the best place to film up close as they pull onto the runway.
Another excellent place is the Carlton Airport Hotel. I've stayed there a good few times,some rooms face the runway. Hope that helps.

i agree david in need of a clean and repaint my local airport is Waterford and they seem to be getting good figures id like to see them live on but with a more attractive and eye catching fleet EI-CBK and EI-CPT look as if they're 50 years old with that 1990's livery whilst BYO's scheme is my favourite also every aircraft is patched up with different parts
@90210walsh Every single airline is excepionally cost conscious now. I was on CPT in Oct & it was just dirty. I don't think there is an excuse for that, their planes s/be pride & joy. They are not just buses w/wings! They've had to shrink to a handful of routes & none is one I'd regularly travel. I have a photo on Flickr of CBK fr 1996 in St Louis ops for TWExpress. Age isn't a problem but cleanliness is. BYO does look tired but it's the smartest in the fleet! I liked RE a lot, still do but...
@dman15333 Hi there thanks for watching. No Stansted always has the highest levels of security and they were fully aware of the public interest. This video was taken from the usualy STN 'viewing area' at Belmer Road. The road into the airport private aviation area was closed off however. It was great to see such a lot of action!

I didn't mean to sound negative as such re Aer Arann, just that there's little to get excited about, they don't fly where I fly so I'm unlikely to be able to film them unless I happen to visit an airport and they drop in of course. I love the ATR, so I'll still try and capture some of the interesting liveries like Aurigny, would also like blue islands sometime as well.

I currently edit in Liquid Edition so there are various plugin effects that came with it, both the editing software and PC are now over 5 years old and really struggle with some of the HD editing. I am saving for a new PC but can't rush into anything as I might need the money for living! Thanks again for watching and for your kind words.
