When I asked Jesus Christ into my heart, I felt a heaviness lift from my shoulders like you wouldn't believe, I also felt a peace that surpasses all understanding. that was my own personal experience, and I still have that peace when I pray to Him.
@Monstermack40 Would it be possible that the heavyness you felt lifted was admission to guilt from wishful thinking/believing that a deity would help you? There are many people of other religions who say they experience the same or similar thing. From seeing all of you as a whole, it seems that the belief in a particular deity or dogma helps alleviate the stress.
