im not sure about this ... but i think either its the berlin wall or ... if u dont know , in many cities in ww2 , germans isolated jews into ghettos , then surrounding the ghetto region with a wall , the regions where extremely poor and ppl where dying from lack of food , probably she is givin her kid to someone she knows on the other side to take care of him ...
