The fountain is not usually so bad. The problem is that during summer is too much crowded of turists camping all around with no respect for that site.
Broceliande is not the right place to visit if one just happen to be there with no expectation. It doesn't offer anything particularly interesting to occasional visitors. But if the spirit is prepared to welcome what the forest can give, it can take much pleasure from the colors, the sounds and the atmosphere. That's the magic!
Unfortunately when I went,there wasn't much time.
I got to Merlins tree and the "fountain of youth" which was a tiny murky pond that was filthy.
The forest just seemed very weeded out .
It was kind of sad.

Yes, I did! Probably the worst place to visit in Broceliande.
...But the forest... Oh, the forest! Left my heart there!
