@patrickmoon one of the mc's is crazy legs an OG of bboying, who knows a thing or two about battling. Whether bboying or popping battling is the same thing, you face your opponent when you battle. If you ask pete he has said the same thing.

@patrickmoon well to be fair, if it is indeed a battle, then is vs each other, so they should always face or at least make there moves towards there opponent, the announcers way `this is a battle` to remind them of this when they are busy flirting with the crowd rather then battling the other popper. Granted the announcers are still douchebags.

@hytermmma i would say, cause the announcer, or at least one of them, is or was a bboy. i think his name is crazy legs, he is member of the rocksteady crew. and i think in bboying battles are much more agressif. so they are not used to see dancers smiling to each others.
