With these projectors, all you do is insert through the bulb hole so it pokes out the back and tighten the nut. Some headlights will require some trimming so the bowl of the projector will seat properly with the reflector of your headlight and the nut will tighten all the way. There's no DIY guide because there's tons of video on YouTube and lots of other retrofits done on HIDPlanet.
I think your projector aiming is way too high, no beam reflect on the front surface of the road.

@vinchuan2 The car is parked up the sidewalk, thats why the lights project upwards. On level roads u can see the lights slope downwards.
