I'm confused, there had been people saying that you can speak to anyone as long as they are on your team or are close to you. Then there are people saying that you can't talk to anyone what so ever as long as you have their friend codes.

Im pretty sure you need friendcodes, but the thing thats different is it's like brawl. Like you can add ur friends friend.

Hopefully the friend code list is unlimited/

no i just read this on wikipedia:

"Voice chat for the online multiplayer will be included through implementation of the Wii Speak peripheral, and is available only between players who are on the same team."you DONT need friend codes.

Yah, you can talk to everyone but the people closest to you youll hear the clearest.
