It doesn't just matter the hit rate. It also matters on when you hit the notes. Like the perfect, awesome, etc. at the bottom. It also matters when you use your "star power" as I say.

I am pro at the only 2 songs that come with the free version...got to lap 5 in endurance mode on that in the hall of the mountain king on hard...I think thats pretty good, lasted about...8 minutes and 59 seconds T^T I wanted 10 minutes...and I got 84.5 million points...was going for 100 million but I just can't get past lap 5...

Your more accurate than me but iv got a higher score. You need to wait for a good point with the bonus, you use it on 2.42 and only hit ten fireworks. If you wait till 2.57 you'll hit a lot more and get a higher score.
