The hard thing is about xbox is that if you're wireless the IP changes. so this only works temporarily

Ok, I seem to have a problem no on e will answer an il sub if you have a solution, my IP also ends in .3 However, the pre-typed part that you cannot change in the IP box says: "192.168.20.(Blank) This is completely different to any IP address I possess and therefore when I fail to fill in the IP correctly I get the error, "no1 WAN IP address is invalid" please help if you can.

@scottarant12 If your Playstation is turned off, it's not connected obviously. When you turn it on, it automatically connects itself to the network and poof, you're connected. It's just the same with my Xbox.

when you see any address starting from "192.168"

@mrAndy45656 you need to find out what your Router's IP address is. On a MacBook, open network settings, hit advanced, TCP/IP - look for router. Copy paste that address into your browser

Noone can connect to my server when I've done this. My port is 25565, which is the default for the game I'm hosting. I have tried to host a lot of different servers on different games like Counter Strike, Warcraft 3, and noone can connect. @HeyYoFabels I can only guess that we need new Routers. Thats my main problem. OH! And I learned something recently that I'll tell you so that you don't have to learn it on your own. Some things can only be manually forwarded through your internet company. In other words, even it you have it on yours, it still wont work because your internet company may have things limited to you. At least ,thats what Ive found out. Oh, and Comcast doesn't like opening their ports T.T

For Belkin you have "Inbound Port" and Private Port". are these the same as ending and starting port? Thanks.
