Odd question for anybody out there. Is Robert's sister, Nancy Culp (Beverly Hillbillies) still alive. I haven't seen her on tv in YEARS. The last I remember, she had a semi-recurrent role on Sanford and Son, in the 70s.

Nancy wasn't his sister. Robert was an only child.Nancy spelled her name Kulp, not Culp.Nancy passed away a few years ago.

My only regret with this clip is they cut out part " the dance of the seven veils" bit. Samuels explains to Max & 99 the dancer will identify which table the operative is sitting at, by removing one of her seven veils. If she removes 2 veils, he's at table 2, if she removes 5 veils he is at table 5 and so on. When Max asks what happens if she removes all seven veils, Samuels replies "The cops come in and close the place down". You can actually her the tail end of it in this clip.

That was hilarious! It was always funny when a star from a serious show would do a cameo in a comedy. for you youngsters, Robert Culp starred with Bill Cosby in "I Spy," a serious spy show.

"Get Smart" was, above all, a satire of the "spy craze" that swept Western pop culture at that time, and this episode was a direct parody of "I Spy", which is the reason for the pairing of Max & 99 with the black secret agent. So it's only fittin g that Culp should appear in this episode. Cosby was presumably unavailable. :->
