  • I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!! I love it how you so all the hard work needed to do front flips, because it is very hard and I should know 'coz I'm trying to do them on my pro-jumpers but it's very hard especially to get the confidence. If you guys could give me one tip on doing front flips on Jumping stilts what would it be? I'm really annoyed 'coz I would so join your club but I live to far away :'(. Anyway keep up the good work guys and post more videos :D

  • how come most of the comments are so abusive? like "they suck" this is a training session so they are gonna fall alot but this is the whole point of a gym so you can fall on your arse on a mat rather than on concrete. so maybe try giving positive feedback?

    Cleeeearly it's all deliberate and instructional.

    Black shirt guy is showing us how to front-flip. Red shirt is showing us how to deliberately land two meters away on our arse, and white shirt is clearly deliberately showing us how to land on our backs after failing to make use of a run-up. 1:30 being the best example. heh.

    seriously though; unless the other two were blindfolded while mr blackshirt was jumping, how did they not realise they were doing it wrong?

  • your trying to do a flip wrong... no offense. you need to do a straight jump, then tuck. if you start tucking as your jumping, you will not get your full jump off, and do what the one in the red shirt is at 2:12. I don't powerstilt, but i have done trampoline, and the basics of a flip is the same. Also, if you do a straight jump then tuck, you will land closer to where you took off, and can do multiple in a row.

    actually i think it's a cool thing what you're doing...i'm probably just jealous because in my area i'm the only one with powerisers and don't have a community like you...don't notice mistakes, english is not my mother tongue

  • All the other two have to do is throw the flip. Im a gymnast and look, the only one that is landing them is throwing his arms over his head to get rotation, the others are just kinda flopping into it.

    The guy in the red top is now doing front flips, barinis and backflips and is still learning more.

    Guys can u really go on sand/grass/dirttrak and still run or jump? These look wiked and im gonna buy sum offa ebay!

  • Yeah, you can go on different terrains but you have to be careful not to slip on some when its wet.

    I also advise staying away from ebay, ProJumps are 135 pounds and they come with excellent customer service as well or if you can afford it get 7leagueboots which are much higher quality but also cost more.

  • How long did it take for you to get the flip?

    Can you do it without the powerisers? I'm asking because I can't flip without stilts and I'm willing to learn how to do it with them...

  • It's taken around 6 hours i suppose. I had no previous gymnastic experience just done a few front flips on a friends trampoline, i definatly can't do them from the ground.

    The best way to learn is find a local sports hall with some crash mats and explain to them what you want to do. Some are fine with it others don't let you in.

    You nevever know there might be a group local to you already having gym sessions.

  • If you wish to do front flip do a turn in air more quickly..u are doing turn like snails

  • Its harder than it looks, each stilt weighs around 4kg so having that weight on your legs makes it harder to spin quickly.

    Also, none of us have any prior gymnastic or trampolining experience so our technique may be lacking quite a bit.

  • Good to know, since that's exactly what I'd be dealing with. No gymnastic/flip experience :) I'm SO considering buying the powerizer G3 2007 upwings, but I'm still hesitating if it'd be worth it... "What if I just suck"- keeps getting back to my head :D .. but it's still fun, right?

    It's pretty hard to suck, you may be a slower learner but even if you can only jump 1 foot its still so much fun

  • Yeah, well usually I have been a quick learner and my balance is ok. (I have snowboarded for 5 years, tried skateboarding etc..)

    And yeah, I'm from Finland, so too bad there's snow on the ground right now. Can't wait for the summer :)

  • Yeah, I'd say he'd have to try jump more UPWARDS than forwards.. He seemed to do that alot ;P But good effort though! And I definately wouldn't do it better, so what am I to say anything :D Just been hearing alot of the technique.. prepping myself already ;I

  • hey bit of advice, I'm no expert so I'm not gunna act like it, but your jumping too far forwards, try doing it statically
