  • your extensions are gorgeous just watch out on that standing foot keep your weight forward and you shoul be good :) good job doh

  • beautiful! love it!

  • You are a stunning dancer, you have such amazing control over your devlopes!

  • Need to lift up your back when you have an attitude derrière

  • i hate adage!!! its always so confusing!!! how do you do it so well?

  • woah your sooo good! and do you have a dance studio in your house?

  • If in completely honest, if she wasn't so flexible, she wouldn't look so good... in devant you're a bit turned in, some of your lines are a bit weird because you're trying toi get your leg higher and you really need to perform rather than just being all legs!

  • thats so cool! do you have a ballet studio in your house?

btw good job :D way better than me :)

  • i think your turnout is lovely but be careful with the balance:)

  • OMG you were 14 in that vid? I am 11 and only in grade 3!!

  • be careful to not sickle your ankles when turning. it's just a strength and balance thing, which you clearly have--i think you simply need to focus on your ankles as much as you are on your arm and leg positions.

  • im so jealous lol

  • i love your technique!!! just remember to smile, and give it that "dancing quality", instead of making it look like an exercise. remember, ballerinas on stage always hide any pain or nervousness! good luck! :D

  • amazing arabesque!

  • wHAT DID YOU get in your exams?:P

  • amazing though keep it steady! you have to hop a bit but i know it is soo hard to stay completely balanced all the time! You are amazing!

  • That was really lovely

  • WOW, THIS IS AMAZING!!

    WELL DONE!!

  • YOURE PEFEECT!

  • I really enjoyed your dancing - your technique is already very good some more work on the flow but you really drew me in too. I hope you are at ballet school somewhere!!!

  • thats very beautiful!

  • And maybe you could try to combine the steps more, if you see what I mean: like not only doing one step after the other, but dancing them in an honest, connected way, you see? I think you're a really good eleve, especially at your age, and I hope you're still dancing!! :)))

  • Hi there, this is really nice, just a few things as "constructive criticism", as you said ;)

Be careful with your lines: you got amazingly high legs (you're 14, as I read? Thumbs up!!), but height is not the only thing, the lines are at least as important. If you lift your back arm in the penché higher in order to bring it into one line with the leg, it will look really beautiful. :)

  • Very nice!! I especially liked your extensions =D I'm 14 too *highfive*

    xD

  • You are an extremely talented dancer. You should be very proud :D Advanced 2 is very difficult and you made it look easy :D Btw, Do you have a dance studio in ure house?

  • wooooooooaaahhhhh... absolutely fantastic :)

  • @nicolelovessantino

I know exactly how you feel. Sometimes I think I should stop watching these videos- it can be really bad for your self esteem :(

  • cool is that a dance area in your house!!?? luckyyyy!

  • amazing! i can't believe you were only 14 and in advanced 2 :o

  • I love to watch others dance but it makes me so sad because I know I'll never be so good.

Lose weight, stretch more, your feet aren't right, your leg doesn't go this way or that, you're bowlegged, you have weak ankles

if it isn't one thing it's another

what a joy it must be to be gifted

  • When you go down in your grand plea don't let your bottom stick out because it shows that your not going down and back up centered :) But the rest was amazing

  • ah your extension is so lovely and you make it look effortless!

  • Comment removed

  • is that studio in your house? or is it at your ballet school? If it is your house, I hate you, you are so lucky. Where do/did you dance?

  • I love you Vailly, you are amazing and it's a shame you didn't continue. I am adding this to my favourites. Don't forget me!

    - Vicka xx

  • @LadyVedovis Ahahah thanks hon. That's very kind :D

  • beautiful dancer.

make sure you are always turning out.

    otherwise really good.

  • This is amazing. (: I wish I was as flexible as you! :D How old are you in this video?

  • you are a beautiful dancer, your control is fantastic, do you dance full time?

  • I'm 15 and I only started dance two years ago. I'm doing my intermediate exam soon. You are so lucky to have started earlier.

  • wow you are soooooo good. you look like you have amazing strength, technique, and balance. on top of all that you are very graceful and make it look so effortless even though its not lol.

  • Well, I like it!! I love your pencee, it's very controlled! You might blend it all a little bit more together instead of a connection of different steps you just do each after the other. And Slight into the attitude from your arabesque. You are very good misses!! Keep up the good work & practice !

    Much of balletlove, Hannelore x

  • You are good - are you/were you at a professional school? Do you still dance? I have watched this video of your dancing the RAD Adage Advanced 2 quite a few times now - did you take the exam -? Did you make any other videos of the other studies in Advanced 2?

  • avvolte sei in en dehor

  • love the penchee!! try to make your promenade smoother, as in make sure when you push your ankle to turn, you're not going up and down too much

  • that was aaaaaaamazing.

  • what mark did you get?

  • very good!! what was your grade in you exam?

  • SPEECHLESS im only in intermediate im 12 ! how old are you in this vid ??? well done x

  • @honeybunch050797 I was 14 in this video :)

  • @honeybunch050797 im in intermediate and im 12

  • @honeybunch050797 hun im 14 and im only in intermediate foundation! (: lol

  • what did you get for your exam??????

  • You're awesome! In my opinion, you have only to improve your arms, expecially your fingers. The other things is the start of the turn, I think you shouldn't move your body to do a better turn ;D

  • your extensions are really good :)

  • your extension is good and you are pulled up nicely, but the turn out is not there. You need to learn how to turn out from your hips - you hold your lower tummy in and your but in and that will rotate your hips out and your feet out. Without the turn out classical ballet moves won't look that nice.

  • Nice work. two things I encourage in my students, 1: focus your eyes and be present, rather than 'in your head' 2: work your feet a bit more, feel the floor with your forefoot and get really high up on your demi-point in releve. Keep dancing!

  • Great job! You have a beautiful arabesque and pique back!

  • you make this look so decevingly simple...but its so not!! you have a wonderful quality and technique in your dancing.

  • I am studying Advanced 2 of the Cecchetti method in Australia and there are no videos or dvds available. If anyone would like to video themselves doing the exercises that would be great. I've only started and would really like to see them demonstrated.

  • Gorgeous! well done! :)

  • you really need to work on turn out during devant extension and grade ronde de jambe. also coming up from your penche, dont lift ur heel. u have really nice control but look amature with that no turnout....i wish you all the luck in the world =]

  • Beautiful! Lovely extension

  • I really don't get why RAD teaches dancers to become teachers .. so what RAD is basically doing is: teachers training future teachers.. so that doesn't make sense...

  • Why do you think they teach students to become teachers? :S

  • Wait I take it back xD

  • it has ferfect sense is not the same be a teacher, is important to educate the eye in order to correct the positions and avoid injury in future dancers.

a dancer search to improve movements and a teacher search to improve metodology techniques and ways to teach.

one thing is true, a teacher needs to train like a dancer to feel the sensations and so transmit it to the students.

  • the rad further education courses specialises in teacher training. Those teachers then go on to teach their syllabus to students as a hobby and also those who whish to train as professionals. The vocational syllabus gives these students a sound base to go on to professional level. Most profesional colleges and schools in the UK use this syllabus to train their dancers, many then go on to be professional dancers in companies worldwide. Few go on to teach RAD.

  • great extentions!! i wish mine were half as good:) im working on advanced two right now, did my advanced one in the summer.

  • You are very good. You should do well in the exam. Have you taken it yet? Would certainly like to see more of your dancing. Do you study at a professional/full time ballet academy/school?

  • Hello RAD friends :) haha.

So I have a question. I know that if you do Intermediate you can be a ballet teacher, right? But what I dont know is if RAD is a school to become a ballet teacher or a professional dancer. I really want to be professional. I'm 15 and in intermediate foundation, I know I'm kind of old but I will accomplish my dream. So, what do you think? RAD is for professionals or for teachers? Should I switch to the National Ballet School here in Mexico? Thanks a lot!!!

  • Why do you keep asking that ???

  • Cuz I want to know if I should really stay in RAD to become a professional ballerina. :)

  • @isthatmarcee it's best if you go to a pro ballet school to be a pro dancer, as the RAD on train dancers to become teachers. I'm on the CBTS course :)

  • sorry meant if you want to go to the RAD on a university course, they only do courses to become a teacher, not a perfomer :) but it's best to learn RAD syllabus if you want to be a performer as well, because it's internationally recognised. Hope that helps :)

  • oooohhhh yea u can... but i'd suggest thinking of moving to europe if you're not from there... RAD is more popularly used there, though it is internationally recognized.. america tends to use the balanchine technique and cecchetti..

  • I think you can make RAD, because I am on RAD school and some of my school are now Teachers, but there were many students, who are professional dancers, now.

    Hope i could help you

  • im in Adv 1 Cecchetti, so i have absolutely no idea about the RAD syllabus . . . but you have a beautiful devellope at the start of the exercise, and a lovley penchet, but really try and use you rotators and turn out from the hips ( bottom leg at 0:40) but your doing well :)

  • you're good. i'm also in advanced two now.

if i'm not mistaken, the last grand rond de jamb ends with an arabesque not an attitude positon. ;)

  • the only advice i can offer is what you hips are squre all the time both facing the same alingment and on the same lever abd maybe oush for a little more turn out but other than that 10!

  • Well I think you are almost Miss Perfect and that was wonderful! :0)

  • I like it!

  • dont sit in your grande plie` otherwise its coming along nicely =]

  • Amazing! Your extensions are to die for, and your arches are good too. If you have trouble balancing in penche or arabesque, try to remember to keep your hips closed and your hips over your knees. Keep it up!

  • you´re doing great, I´m such a chicken I didn´t want to take the Advanced I exam this year, but I´ll try next year, the only advice I can give you is to be careful when you transfer your weight, specially before the arabesque en penche, and for the developé on the retiré don´t go directly from the floor to your knee... congrats and good luck!

  • i thought that was quite good ... i think i could top that with some practise though :P probably not but whatever LOL! im trying to learn ballet to get into a decent dance school, cause so far im up to first award in everything else, which is kinda different from ballet grades. keep it up!

  • omg and you're only 15? i'm 16 and currently at grade 7!

  • push ur sternum up more in ur arabesqye and piviots and work on the carriage of your arms more to make them more flowing and never ending but it is looking good

  • Nice! I just took this exam jsut so you know at the end of your arabesque turn you can land on fondu and then straighten into attitude.. Makes it a little easier and also at the end of your rond de jambe en l'air keep it in arabesque not attitude :) Good luck!

  • pretty !!!!:)

this year i am doing Intermediate Foundation for ballet and i cant do that at all except maybe the uhhh.... developes although it is only like 45 degrees high :)LOL

if u had done that for your exam i hope u get/got an excellent mark!

  • very good but be careful not to cut your line in the ponche, just make sure your arm is in the same line as your leg :)

  • wow!!! that was really good!! i love the extensions and your control. put more videos up please!!! :-D

  • nice strength and flexiblity in the hip again! support the arms underneath when finishing in attitude. nice ending, very soft and elegant. you definately are on the right track to doing very well on your exam. keep up the good work, and good luck on your exam!!! :)

  • supporting foot of your penche!!! beautiful 12 o'clock extension! you have both nice flexiblity and strength! 5. cleaner transition between pirouette in arabesque into the rotation in attitude. finish your pirouette, extend the leg for a moment, and then go into your attitude 6. support the arms underneath, show that strength that you have!! 7. caught you cheating :P close into fifth before you draw your leg up into the grand ronde de jambe. yikes, the leg to the front is completely parallel!

  • Hi there! I'm in the process of becoming a ballet teacher and would like to give you some constructive criticism :) I took detailed notes as I watched your video, and this is what I had: 1. don't sit at the bottom of your plie, make it one big, continuous movement 2. beautiful developpe to the front and smooth transition to a la seconde! wow! 3. don't lift your heel so noticeably when you are shifting your weight and testing your balance 4. be careful about being completely parallel on the

  • very nice...:)))

  • its clear that youve got great strength

    and flexbility

now just try to work on ur continuity

    and coordination :)

  • Very nice, beautiful feet and lovely high legs, though you should be careful with your arms, they are a bit fishy sometimes. =)

But very good work!! Keep going!!

  • Hi i thought ur adage study was really good

    lovely extensions

at the end after the rond de jambe en l'air has come all the way round i think it ends in a arabesque not attitude but correct me if im wrong

    good luck

  • very nice..... i hope to get to do Advanced 2 too, one day... haha :D but i don't think so as my town only offers the grades 1-8 and no vocational trainng

  • I too am studying A2, and may I just say WOW! your first ronde de jambe enlair was amazing...thats my weakness, i lack looseness in the hips :( I'm more of a pirouette tyrant...good luck! xoxo

  • u're good! and strong!

  • Very nice, high leg lines. Make sure you resist your lowerings so they are smooth and controlled. Try feel like you are lifting up through your hips and thighs as you come down from demi point.

  • it's all very lovely. just use your head more :) keep up the good work! how old are you?

  • Very, very good! Thank you for uploading.

  • daffodil1

Lovely extensions and beautiful feet and legs. I would like to see a little more in the way of dynamics. The presentation lacked highs and lows. I too, would like to see the 2nd Adage and the Ports de Bras.
