@elzipitio HA!  Contour might not have the budget of Red Bull for an editing team, but they have produced several good videos, sans the overuse of ultra slow motion done post processing.

@ContourCamera well thats one of the nice things about your competeters product Their isnt really a Gyroing system, its more of just a Bolt through a few prongs with a detachable 2ndary peace, But i will say that the size of their product can for people like me be a problem depending on how much gear im wearing at the time, Nothing a little fiddeling wouldnt fix But Still that is more time away from doing what me and Trav here have in common. Plz come up with Gyro and additional attachments

@xKurogashi You can use a goPole (they are made for GoPro cameras) but drift makes an adapter that makes it work with contour and drift cameras also, that's what I use.

Very sick T.Rice. If you check out the GoPro vs Contour comparisons the Contour has better video quality. GoPro make up for the lack of quality with their bigger budgets. Contour all the way!

I don't know that go pro video quality is any better or how you could tell from watching a youtube video but I can definitely say that the contour line of cams look waaaaaaaay better aesthetically! The new mounts and wifi live streaming (which is apparently coming to go pro soon too) make it a pretty even choice...IMO.

go pro is strange .. like a workshop prototype built from a regular camera. Glad contour started from the ground up for properly shaped uses.

@swuggl3 You think that, but Contour continues to produce better images than the competition. That's not my opinion, but the opinion of most every tech reviewer out there. GoPro out of the box saturates colors more, giving the video more pop. Contours records more natural colors and allows for more flexibility for color correction.

@HereKittyKittee The Contour+ has just as wide angle of view, and because it is longer it can fit in more lens elements, ending with a much flatter image rather than the distorted barrel effect GoPros have. That said, the + is a bit more money than Hero I believe.

@calvin2032 - the flatter image is great for the backcountry, GOPro is like a mini fish eye, so works better for me on the east coast as its more park riding and urban shots

I looked at the contour, but HERO2 was the better fit for myself....and the image quality is a better at night (barely), which is when i usually ride because of work

@samoth14 They actually just came out with a new Surf Board Mount that works perfectly on most boards. It's called the Contour 3555 Surfboard Mount. Also if you do get this make sure you clean the surface before attaching, dry, then let the mount sit 24-48 hours before bringing it out there.
