  • @dwarflover63 There is absolutely no way the insurance company would insure a production with potentially dangerous animals. Alligators and actors can't be on the set at the same time.

  • I wish Greer Garson and Fred MacMurray were my parents and I had pet alligators!

  • @dwarflover63 Community? Which Community theater would that be?

  • I pray to god there are no baby children in that house. He's not the happiest millionair, he's craziest.

  • I love those alligators...the butler's so funny with them.:)

  • Yup, this has to be the single best part of the movie.

  • Great movie! Thanks for posting. Classic...

  • One of the best, if not the best (IMHO - as I love the scene at the ball with Cordie and Andy), scenes in the movie.

  • it's always been my favorite scene...except maybe the bar scene, which is fun.

  • "Anybody who keeps alligators in the house should expect to be bit, and deserves it!" --Aunt Mary

  • "It never rains but it pours. To lose ur only daughters & ur pet alligators all in the same black night."

"There's an ol' Irish proverb: 'To have ur alligators thaw out & ur daughter forgive u all on the same bright day, that's fortuousity."

"John?" "Sir?" "Who are u talking to?" "No one, sir." "Well, u know what they say about people who talk to themselves."

"Like i said, it's another case of fortuousity"

I <3 this scene so much. these lines have always stuck. Good ol' Walt!
