shows how uneducated you are on the matter, religious experience?
you mean spiritual experience?
and btw, i'm not going to be responding to your know it all comments, you aren't educated in the field of anything and are but an average typical individual who does nothing more than research the inernets and thinks hes smart
good day bubs
once again i will not respond OR read your posts so all of your time will be a wasted effort in blowing hot air
@hypur Uneducated? Adhom and dead wrong. I do not need to qualify myself to you. I have actually had quite and extensive education in the topic at hand. Because you have no backing you have agreed in advance not to show your ill equipped hand I will assume you a fool. I have my Bachelors degree with a Psych major how about you? All you have done is blow hot air. To further show your intellectual cowardice you have misspelled my username so you would not have to answer for your claims.
wHATS SO FUNNY about that? It is a myth, it´s just another chemical addiction, a chemical addiction is not a disease, its over expousre to a addictive chemical.
@Wtfgames No it is not, it is a willful act of self destructive stupidity that people feel they should get a special gold star for not doing. Maybe we should give you a reward for not jumping in front of the bus? Grow up.
@hypur Your assumptions are completely wrong. Most of what 12 step programs teach is dead wrong and to the detriment of people who adhere to it. People in these programs need the whole thing to be a disease so they dont have to be horrible people. Instead everyone (family) around you is supposed to say that it is all ok because you have had some religious experience. Even AA knows it does not work. Efficacy is 5% with and 5% without AA help. That is 0% efficacy if you are not following.
to the detriment of people who adhere to it? that doesnt make any sense i know people who can't live without the programs, people who have worked the programs and have lived fulfilling and happy successful lives because of it.
what do you expect anyone to take you, some average persons opinion, you being an individual upon billions alive today among hundreds of billions of humans to ever live on a spec of dust in a species that is but less than a millisecond old
@hypur Yes to the detriment to people who use it. There are millions of stories of people being taken advantage of through the propagation of this cult. The only thing they have learned is to shift the blame and get away with it. I don't expect anyone to take my word for it which is why I tell you to read the AA Triennial survey. Facts are facts. The rest of your comment is just a hyperbole.
@isogoria to be taken seriously? i hope you realize how insignificant you and your little opinion really is now
you work the program, it works,
there are few who are willing to dedicate and work it or who need it enough to work it but when you work it it works
it does enable spiritual growth definitely and AA itself supports a 5% success rate alone from alcoholics who recover outside of AA if you are not following ya dummy you
@hypur More adhom and yet another unfounded assumption. This seems to be a reoccurring theme with you. Please take the time to read the AA triennial survey. The 5% with and with out is their numbers not mine. Now you proceed to lie with special qualifiers. Forget that the whole faith healing premise does not work and then blame it on the person. Typical of spiritual charlatans; just like the "Secret" cons.
Your math is poor - 5% with AA help and 5% without AA help. Go back to math class.
"i hope you realize how insignificant you and your little opinion really is now" Facts are facts and that just pisses you off. Gives me a great belly laugh. I never said this was my opinion. I am simply citing facts.
@isogoria hahaha here you go buddy here's your cited research

Selling a pseudo science disease model that can not even be proven.
Do notice she calls it a "concept", thus the deception is deliberate. This form of intellectual dishonesty is deplorable.
Enormous amount of damage is done to people selling the "codependency" label. I guess as long as they get rich they don't care who they destroy.
AA has a less than 5% success rate. She shuffles them into these quack programs for them to sell the ideal.
May Kathleen Hodgins guilt keep her awake at night.

@isegoria1 I take it you use drugs and alcohol and potentially have problems with it
Much of what is taught at anonymous programs is 100% accurate
