Don't know if you've been to tayst but the chefs wife is vegan and they are super vegan friendly. They actually give you composed dishes instead of steamed veggies. They also have a chefs surprise when their menu items are just vegetarian or if you want to go with the surprise.
Oooh, basil plants! Good idea! You may have just inspired me to do some gardening...since growing your own food is another win-win situation! :)
