@SS4Brony No i'm not. I live in great Britain, a country that i like to think looks at things a lot more rationally than several other countries that spring to mind. We like to not see china as "these guys are communist, they must be destroyed" but rather try to understand why the country is communist in the first place and how it has benefited the nation. For instance it is thought that China will be more powerful than the US in 2015.

I think the two choruses are talking about real life, human examples (though Discord certainly came to mind for the first), and Equestria is symbolic of a good, peaceful, awesome place. And by saying "We're a long way from Equestria", this song is saying human beings have a huge amount of work to do before they'll be anywhere near a place so awesome. ^^

@xixJackxix this is true... unforunately that's the original reason i got exposure to being a brony/pegasister was SL. granted i've met some great people from SL though four of them being some of my closest friends now. but like you said before, SL is a mixing bag and doesn't really represent the community as a whole.

i can honestly say without shame this made me tear up. why? because most of the lyrics applied to my life before MLP. i was the boy who liked cute and lovely things, and in 7th grade at a... not well managed school, that was not somebody to be. physical and verbal harassment was a part of daily life. i was always sad. but then i found the bronies. they were kind without reason, unlike my school. this song, to me, embodies all of what the bronies mean to me. it tells of how we should spread (ctd)
@dinostoner420 love in the face of hate, and to not let people tear you down, because then they win. the bronies gave me a source of refuge to know that there were people that had the same values as i did. i won't bore you with the details, suffice it to say the community was what inspired me to be happy again.

I think Crepuscularity, Balladshy, Celestial Whatchamacalit, Lunar summthin-or-other, Spectrum, and La Coutuire (or however you spell it) are better than all the modern "AcousticMandoBrony" stuff. We are a long way from Equestria. Their is little to no chance for people to change. Hate will forever grow and if we all don't change even if its one at a time, then I fear that the world as we know it will only die in vain for holding such hateful creatures on it. i can honestly say without shame this made me tear up. why? because most of the lyrics applied to my life before MLP. i was the boy who liked cute and lovely things, and in 7th grade at a... not well managed school, that was not somebody to be. physical and verbal harassment was a part of daily life. i was always sad. but then i found the bronies. they were kind without reason, unlike my school. this song, to me, embodies all of what the bronies mean to me. it tells of how we should spread (ctd)

this song is pretty good but.... No offence, MandoPony, but I think Acoustic Brony was better before the partnership. I think Crepuscularity, Balladshy, Celestial Whatchamacalit, Lunar summthin-or-other, Spectrum, and La Coutuire (or however you spell it) are better than all the modern "AcousticMandoBrony" stuff. I just felt the need to post. For reasons I wont go into now I spent most of my life drowning in hate, anger, and depression so deep I was constantly getting into fights, shoving others away, I even tried to kill myself, twice. But this community, the bronies, you pulled me out of that vortex of pain. I'm not completely cured, but the crippling depression is gone. In the physical realm, I'm still alone. Bit I have hope.
