  • Can anybody translate the ingredients on that crepe for me? Looks delicious!

  • Go back to basic crepes or well if you want something from Paris...there is a GreatChef video on crepes...harder to do but I bet it taste good.

  • He's not a native French speaker and he doesn't name all the ingredients. He does mention that it's special cheese, which sounds like 'savoignard.' He mentions onions (in English) and he adds what looks like potatoes, tomatoes and lettuce, as well as what he calls country ham.

  • By country ham he probably means "home made ham" as in traditionally cured pork ham. I think it's called serano in spanish.

  • Yes, "jamón serrano" in spanish :)

  • In this crepe there is:

cheese (raclette cheese - fromage a raclette)

    onions

    potatoes

Italian ham Proscuitto I think (jambon de pays)

    green salad

He calls this crepe Crepe Savoyarde by reference to the French Alps

  • It was called a Crepe Savoyard

    Raclette cheese

    cooked onions

    cooked potato

    cured ham

    lettuce

Chef Nico said it's 100% French

  • @cjreseland raclette cheese, onions, potatoes, raw ham, pepper, salad

  • Yum, Thanks for the help, I'm opening a crepe shop and have been trying literally 100+ recipes. This would be a good one since it is so authentic.

  • @cjreseland

Where is your shop? and what recipes worked best for you so far?

  • I love France cuz of dudes like that.

  • ces crepes semblent fabuleux

  • Nikola has a great taste and a creative mind to find new recepies for delicious crepes. He prepare not typical crepes but something that you can name it "gastronomie crepes"!!! Always smiling, his crepes and his gentleness make your day.

  • The greatest crepes in Paris, 20 euros spended in just one night at his shop...grazie Nicos!!!

  • It is, the pancake was so delightful ^^ mmmm making me hungry lol

  • We were there couple months ago to taste this crepes at Latin Quarter, it is delicious... The guy standing at the back of the old man early on this video was cooking and wearing a chef coat with a small Greek flag on it. When we asked him where they were originally from and what kind of crepe this is, he said this is a Greek Crepe, and show me the little flag of his chef outfit. We went back there twice coz we love the food. Yumm.

  • what does he say = le crepe savoirsomething, whatever it is it looks delicious

  • crepe + sandwich = crepewich!

  • he's definitely not french! but that looks tasty!

  • haahaha hes not french

  • He is french, he's "Algerian French" in the sense a black or white person is American even though Indians were there first. Algeria was a part of France and in such he is french.

  • He's greek not algerian

  • It looks like a bouquet of flowers. :-)))

    Yummie !

  • Is he really famous? :O I've seen him on Me VOila! A french ABC series and yeah...
