Did you add a 2nd aileron servo first? If you did, next thing you need to do is to program the AR6400 brick to activate the 2nd channel, then you need to program the mixing on your Transmitter (assuming it has the mixes) to set up the flaperon mixing. I guess you could call it an advanced setup.
NO, in this video description is a link to my build post in RCgroups. The brushless ESC I used has a BEC that puts out 5v, I added a diode to drop the voltage to 4.2v for the PZ RX Brick.
1s lipo's from? Do they have the correct plug to mate with the Parkzone battery harness? Please include part numbers if possible. THANKS! for he GREAT! vidieos and construction articles!!!!.............
Batteries only come loose, must be soldered. I got the 20C ones and PZ adapter cables that I chopped and soldered from Hobby City. There is more info in the build threads, check there!
If you checked the description on the video, you'll see a link to the construction post I made. I spent a little extra time to document this and share it with the R/C community so others could use any useful tidbits. This mod takes much more than a spare hour, closer to 8 now that it's documented, and more than that for the original. So no, I don't think I'd take $300 to build one.
Scott, I'd prefer to send a Sukhoi to someone and have them mod it as well! Unfortunately no one's offering and I barely have time to make my own. Good Luck in your quest!
Lets just say that money is no object. Anyone could use an extra $200-$300 just from having fun while doing small mods. You can spare and hour or so, yes?
do you mix aileron servos from the ar6400 or from ur tx ?
tallman500 1 year ago
@tallman500
You use the TX to change modes on the AR6400 to have one ail servo on Ch2 and the other on Ch6. Then you set up the mixing on your transmitter.

@RemE14MZ I have a DX5e, I can not do mixing on it, If i program the brick to have 2 aileron servos will it work ?

@tallman500
Nope, time to buy a REAL TX to enjoy these advanced mods, sorry.

It accelerates vertically, out of a hover. Lots of power, and the flap mode is great. I will post up flight video, just need a cameraman.

Hi,
I am interested in sending you a Brand New Sukoi to modify just like yours. I would of course pay you a fee to do this however you prefer.
