BOTH parties are screwing us and have been for years! The left and the right is all a mind game and a stupid one. If you want someone honest that's been consistent with what he's said for decades and doesn't flip flop and lie, then there's only one candidate that fits that category. That candidate is Ron Paul. I have so many reasons I could list as to why people should vote for him in 2012 but, I'll let you do the research. Ron Paul 2012! Oh, and Semper Fi Marines!

I'm a former Marine and this knucklehead doesn't speak for me. Interestingly, Baird was there and this guy had the chance to get up and make his case. This would never happen with George W. Bush who regularly screened his potential audiences for anyone who might raise an uncomfortable question.

Further, the NSDAP didn't control the private sector totally, rather it promoted "free market" values while at the same time regulating what they produced and how their products were sold. It's a tricky one, but at the same time anyone with a brain, who passed History class in High School as they should would understand that the NSDAP was the complete opposite of liberal values.

Hitler's brand of national socialism actually never had anything to do with socialism as we understand it. In those days parties dubbed their titles and values socialist because it was viewed as positive. In actuality the National Socialists were fascists--fascism can be found on the opposite end of the spectrum (on the Right, not Left).

I did write it down. About two minutes before I said it. I wanted to make sure that I did not miss anything if I got caught up in the moment. If you notice, I glance at the page and then looked up when I spoke. That is the same way I gave presentations back in college. Served me well, even at the masters level.

To me this isn't about something as petty as left and right. If you think McCain was going to do a better job than this think again. Both sides are screwing us equally and it's about time people are actually standing up to the people who claim to represent us. They have way too much control over our lives and stay in office way too long. This Marine stood up for what he believed and I admire that. More and more people need to do this to BOTH parties. You would see things change.

Of course you are. If you accept an income tax you're a socialist. If you accept tariffs, quotas, or ANY other market controls (beyond laws against fraud), you're a socialist. If you want to control how other people live their peaceful lives, you're a fascist. If you want to control through the apparatus of the state what children learn, you're a fascist.
