I have listen to many pianists Richter, Badura Skoda, Demus gulda, Schiff, Anderszewsky, excuse my spelling, and I believe we are lucky to have so many good interpretations. Difficult to select the best. Now I have to add to the list Chaimovich. And we should not forget Landowska and Angela Hewitt.

Wow, I've never heard Bach played on a Bosendorfer before now. It seems like that particular piano was designed for this kind of music. It sounds wonderful...sweet and mellow, not overpowering or too bright.
@jjp009 Agreeing with jjp009. As you demonstrate here, the Bosendorfer is superior to other pianos especially for showing your beautifully articulated hand balance. It has a singing quality that other pianos lack.
This is excellent and some of the best Bach playing I have heard on YouTube! With that being said though, I would suggest the courante to be slower, the sarabande to be faster, and maybe a lighter touch and less legato in the gigue.
Великолепно, Вадим: прекрасная орнаментика, так чудесно меняющаяся при повторении частей, ясное голосоведение, фразировка, акценты - словом, всё, что так важно в Бахе, сделано мастерски! Браво!
this is far better than many famous pianists. I m glad to always hear you. if you come to the UK lt me know. The Riverhouse Barn in Walton on Thames is fairly good to hire and you get to take a cut of the takings.
What was that figure at 0:58?
