i feel sorry for african american women, the media only show us black men who "dates" or marries white women. that show would make a black woman jealous of kim. my thing is why is it that a black woman say something about a non black woman, without being hateful, it's wrong? it's more than having a big ass. women of other races have always been praised of something black women have had for years(lips, hair, booty, curves). then we are being compared to women like kim and how we should be like her. really??? and for tyler to cast her in his next movie? i like him but he lost some cool points with that.

The silver lining is that Serena and JJ are more recognized for their talent. Can't say the same for KK and JLo. I wouldn't expect the mainstream to put black beauty on a pedestal unless there are mucho dollars to be made. Pam Grier was made a sex symbol by AIP Pictures only because her flicks made a huge profit with very little investment. Bottom line.

As much as I love reading this, I've gotta, still, admit that I want our external beauty to be recognized and appreciated, as well, and I don't feel wrong for this ...Angelina Jolie is recognized as a highly-talented, but her beauty is, also, recognized - she has the "model lips", which we have been teased for (I know, personally) in cartoons, etc.
