If it's because you enjoyed seeing a poor man get run over like that and wanted to see it again for that reason, then yes.

But, if it's because you couldn't believe what you just saw and you had to see it again to be sure that it's real with genuine concern about the victim and disgust against the reckless driver, then no.

While it's true that if the pedestrian wouldn't have been hit had he not jaywalked, the jaywalking is but a contributing factor; the driver of the Cadillac is primarily the one at fault since he didn't stop when he hit the pedestrian. (Felony hit and run)

The driver could've cited nighttime conditions as a defense for his inability to see the pedestrian, but it may also be argued that he should have driven more appropriately for the conditions (slower speeds so you don't overdrive your headlights). (likely to be misdemeanor reckless driving with excessive speed resulting in an accident)

I don't believe it was mentioned that the driver was drunk, however.

Hit and runs like this are so common nowadays, especially in the Tampa, Florida area. There is something wrong with today's society. Most of them are crack heads and low lifes. It's a real shame. It just shows you that this country is over, and soon the whole world. People are so evil and don't care if they kill anyone that gets in there way. I could not believe the driver acted like he didn't do anything wrong after the cop pulled him over. Anyway, it's a miracle the person that he hit made it.

After all, maybe there was nothing the cop could do for the victim without the proper equipment, so he probably called an ambulance and then chased the black car, because if you don't do it now, you'll never get him.
