valid points Sharmeeli, at the end of the day it's the final result we can comment on, and the dancing here is the kind you would only see in Punjabi/Urdu films i.e. lewd and graceless. The female vocals (in the tradition of Noor Jehan) accentuate that crudeness and kind of destroy the good music...but I guess its a matter of choice, some people, probably the audience that the film makers aimed these films for, preferred such sort of stuff...so maybe its not meant for all of us :)

Humera channa has great vocals,especially she is a product of Ptv and introduced by Nisar bazmi...no one can doubt on Nisar bazmi,who was true music genius...on that time Ptv did not allow any "era ghera mun uthaye aur ptv main dakhil hojaye",on that time only talented people allow to come on air...not like today...

Problem is mostly music director don`t have sense that any singer can`t sing everything...Humera channa can`t sing on high pitch notes...this is most probably directors mistake..!!!

As for as Reema is concern..although she is the only actress in recent days who groomed her self alot..but this is our mentality that we never forget somebody`s past...2nd...acting,dancing,mu­sic and all these things are basically director`s responsibility,an actor has to exactly do as what director says...if somebody danced /acted well...then credit goes to director/choreographer..if does not the again blame goes to director/.choreographer...

Great song but the I feel the picturisation could have been better. Neeli was brilliant in this film. One thing which I feel is that Iqbal Kashmiri was the wrong choice for director for this sort of film with a sensitive subject. Even though his direction was good but some scenes could have been better. The film was released in 1995 and that time it was one of the most expensive Pakistani flicks. It was the start of the revival in Urdu Cinema. Music was awesome in this period.
