The EU a few years ago proposed changes to the internet so all e-mail, blogs, instant messaging and Internet voice calls could be monitored by the EU.
so ACTA will legally enable IPS(internet provider services) to collect personal information on citizens and outlaw any means of effective data encryption. So how do I take control of my personal data, which, by EU law, will be collected by private companies?
It's like saying: "we will protect your privacy", and then installing a surveillance camera in your bathroom...
@woopeea International agreements (like ACTA) have to be consented by the European Parliament. If we put pressure on our representatives, we can make ACTA fail. We have the power to do this, just like what they did with SOPA in America.
