@Hallucigenius no problem actually you can be "inside" maya as in in her hitbox and if the enemy tries to hit you the first few hits will be blocked by maya. So you can either have time to collect the evidence or get a free combo of the enemy. That and you also spam assists like Doom plasma beam to cover you. The main strategy I see with Wright is that you get him as point character find the evidence thanks to the assists and them get him out to later THC into him to get the objection in.

@Shodian The music in this video doesnt correspond to what actually happens in the game, usually when a character enters right after a death it changes music unless the music has just shortly began playing, that music being the theme of the character. Music also changes when Phoenix enters Turnabout mode.

This means that it's likely that wrights LVL3 does at least 900'000 in lvl3 xfactor. Likely more, in the realm of over one million damage, killing everyone equal or less health than wesker by itself.

Adding in the X-Factor damage boost of an assumed 40%, it becomes 840,000.

Firebrand has around 800,000 health.

You do the math.

What you need to realise though is there are so many battery characters that can easily get over Mayas gaurd (which is what he'll rely on to gather evidence). For example combine Zero with Dooms hidden missiles and he has no chance. Having said that had Tron and Haggars assists not been nerfed I could see Wright being top tier.

Don't wanna jump to conclusion but it seems you are using Nick on point using assists and Maya cover to find the evidence. Once you have it you switch him out so he can recover health. Using him as an anchor character with his superb projectiles with evidence and turnabout power up state to finish off the opponent. And holy crap did his lv3 did a massive amount of damage with the x-factor on. I see Nick being a tricky character to use because of the evidence finding, but risk has rewards.

looking at nick cage and vergil really makes me believe that these are two really solid characters. of course they need the correct assists to back them up but the untapped and mostly untested the potential of both seem incredibly high to me. i look forward to playing. also strider with that ouroboros looks amazing. the one question i have max is will the situations when you're using strider lean more towards using ouroboros or ragnarok? or does that totally depend on the situation itself?

I think Phoenix Wright will mostly be used like Phoenix, as a finisher or saver. Collect all of his evidence, then go into courtroom mode.Next, tag him out and continue the match. Finally, use him as a last resort or finisher and go into turnabout mode.
