We use terms incorrectly in the US. Latinos are caucasian people from Latin America. Meztizo are mixed native Indians and Spaniards from Mexico, and the rest of Central America. In fact, most of Central Americans have no Spanish blood too. Most of the Mexicans coming across the US illegally are from the poor state of Chi Hua Hua and most of them are more native Indians than Spanish.
Most of these people speaks spanish and that's why we call them Hispanics, meaning spanish speaking people.
And when Europeans Immigrated in waves during 1880s till 1920s , it was easier to get a citizenship than it is now. So stop hatin, thus was their ancestral land before us

If you were to go to a dominant German-American or an African-American community, english would be the only language spoken, not german/african. Hispanics are hard to budge as far as language goes. Hispanics speak way to much spanish in the States, if they speak pre-dominant english they'd assimilate faster. If spanish is only spoken go back to Mexico.

We use terms incorrectly in the US. Latinos are caucasian people from Latin America. Meztizo are mixed native Indians and Spaniards from Mexico, and the rest of Central America. In fact, most of Central Americans have no Spanish blood too. Most of the Mexicans coming across the US illegally are from the poor state of Chi Hua Hua and most of them are more native Indians than Spanish.
Most of these people speaks spanish and that's why we call them Hispanics, meaning spanish speaking people.

The U.S settlers began to revolt against the local Mexican authority and established the "California Republic". This continued in other areas during and after the Mexican-American war. However, Mexicans weren't kicked out as a result. HOWEVER, over half a million were deported in the 30s but that's a different story.

What I don't seem to understand is why people say America is made up of Americans if Americans are multi diverse. America is made up of immigrants is it not? And if people ever read their history textbooks California once belonged to Mexico. Americans say that Mexico was sold to the U.S, but we all probably know that it was taken by force. @BEARARMZ You made a really good point man, the hispanics are hard working people. The only problem I have with them is the language issue. If you were to go to a dominant German-American or an African-American community, english would be the only language spoken, not german/african. Hispanics are hard to budge as far as language goes. Hispanics speak way to much spanish in the States, if they speak pre-dominant english they'd assimilate faster. If spanish is only spoken go back to Mexico.

@BEARARMZ thats not how Official language works. if you have an official language that means you dont have to supply anything in other languages which pretty much destroys all immigration unless previously educated in english, that means they already have a decent education system and dont really need to come here. tbh labor force relies greatly on immigrants (im talkin non illegal) and with that cutoff the country would be hit pretty hard. and spanish is by far the easiest langauge to learn.
