  • God, I love the way he plays the guitar. Amazing.

  • AMAZING! He's my favorite guitarist. His solo work is mind blowing. He is so underrated and I don't understand why.

  • I am aware of the insurmountable talent of Lindsey Buckingham but I didn't care for this at all.

  • He seriously needs to put this on an album - if he hasn't already! I like how he made it his own. There are too many parrot performers out there, so it's nice to hear a classic done in the unique style of the artist covering it.

  • This is absolutely amazing. What talent!

  • Love how he plays this song in his own style instead of just a verbatim reproduction of how we're used to hearing it. I think George would have liked it very much. Especially if Lindsey played it on a ukelele.

  • @RubHerSoul1 on ukulele would have been interesting! i love when he plays that & the banjo.

  • One of kind performer putting his touch on a classic. I totally loved this, LB is nothing short of a guitar god. One of the best performers in my book ever!

  • as a beatles fan and professional guitar player i must give lindsey a massive thumbs up for his creative and very musical version. Lovely Lad Lindsey!!

  • Wow! I'm re-discovering Lindsey. Far f*#& out.!

  • LB also covered the George Harrison classic Here Comes the Sun for a New Years special the year Harrison died. He gave it the "Big Love" treatment. The producers did not care for the LB interpretation and they asked him to change it or they were going to pull it. Reportedly, LB threw his guitar across the hotel room. The producers backed down and let LB perform his interpretation live. If you look closely at the video, you can see a hole in his guitar.

  • @cheapcents awesome lol. sounds like him.

  • Thank you so much for posting this!!!

  • Lindsey is simply put, the BEST !

  • Lindsey made Fleetwood Mac

  • someone told me George and Lindsey did some stuff together..................although nothing like an album or anything that would be released. If that's true, I would love to hear it.............whatever it was.

  • What tuning is he using? I can't find it.

  • His skill with a guitar are certainly impressive but i say the beetles did this song better

  • One of the best guitar players in history...

  • This is an actual cover song for once. Buckingham makes the song his own, the whole damn point. Bands that just rehash material that was better in the first place are just lost.

  • lindsey is the most underrated musician--LOVE this cover!! thanks 4 posting

  • beautiful. lindsey is one of those rare performers whose guitar playing (and general level of musicianship) is probably BETTER now than it was at the height of his popularity (the 1970s). his last few solo albums are nothing short of brilliant. rock on lindsey.

  • This was so refreshing - i was looking for something of real interest for a change.

damn i'm gonna watch it again and again and again and then look for something new and refreshing again lol

  • Such an amazing virtuoso guitarist!!!!!George Harrison would've been proud!!

  • Incredibly talented man! redifreddy14 said it all - I agree~!

  • amazing....if ever you wanna realize how much you suck at guitar, youtube some Buckingham videos... :)

  • @ComSamVimes81 LMAO,truth.

  • Thank you for posting this friend. I swear he is getting better with age!!

  • what a ballsy move to cover the song in this way. but it is what a cover is supposed to be. why cover a song to mimic the original? a true cover is an artist taking a song and making it his own. this is wonderful

  • so under rated... haunting vocals... and a guitar that challenges Knophler technically, and surpasses him creatively

  • @redifreddy14 ~ Thanks for your great comment!! (:

  • @redifreddy14 He's great, but when it comes to MK, ouch... I'm sorry to disagree with you! MK is the measuring unit with regard to Rock'n'Roll era musicians! Only virtuosos (i.e. Paco de Lucia) are better than him technically, but they lack the other 2 pillars of a modern musician: music-writing and ease of live play for thousands (i.e. stadium). If you see MK live and judge him unbiased, you will agree! Musical tastes afterwords are subjective, so I respect your opinion! They're both great.

  • @neju087 Ouch is right ... LB is total passion and showmanship connect that to talent and its a Wow ... and god bless MK but standing like a statue while he makes that LP 58 make incredible sounds ... well would rather go to see the showman and listen to that pain in his voice.... meets you half way....

  • @redifreddy14 Like them both v. much, they are some of the greatest musicians of Rock'n'Roll! But it's not the "statue", is that MK plays with such an ease that, if the 59 sunburst, or the red Strat or the Pensa MKI was made of protein, lipids and cells, you would think that it was an extension of MK's body! NOBODY, NOBODY PLAYS LIKE THAT! I am glad that you love LB and not some other crap (i.e.slash, sambora, hammett) they compare to the greats! I would love to see LB and his show! He's great!

  • Wasn't that part of a tribute to George? I remember seeing this on tv not long after George passed.

  • Yes, it was. (:

  • this makes me smile =] I love Lindsey

  • Glad that you enjoyed this one. (:

  • his vocal rendition is simply fabulous, he knows how to instil emotion in all he does on stage. Not just another Beatles cover, a WONDERFUL cover by a WONDERFUL artist. Thanks for the video :)

  • VERY well said!! Thanks for your great comment and for viewing my video!! (:

  • I like this because he doesn't try to do a duplicate of it. If you're going to do someones song, put a twist on it. He did that for sure.

  • I agree. Thanks for your great comment!! (:

  • I LOVE buckingham... don't know what he was really trying to do here. I can imagine Harrison would've gotten a strange kick out of it though

  • Oh, I like it, but that's just me. (:

  • This is possibly one of the most beautiful renditions of a classic I've ever heard! I've said it once, and I'll say it again-- Buckingham is the greatest guitar player there is! Pure genious!

  • Thanks for your GREAT comment!! It's MUCH appreciated!! (:

  • The greatest guitar player of all time !

  • I agree. Thanks for commenting!! (:

  • this version is pretty good.

  • Thanks!! (:

  • sigh...Lindsey is my hero.

  • Mine too. Thanks for your comment!! (:

  • Big Love meets Abbey Road? Prefer George 's but still love Lindsey

  • Thanks for viewing my video!! (:

  • Kingofhorror87, Thanks for your great comment!! VERY well said!! (:

  • he rushes the song way to much.

  • It is a little bit faster than the original, but I do still like it, but that's just my opinion. (:

  • I love Lindsey...but I have to say that I prefer the original. But I like the way Lindsey made his own version of a great classic.

  • They're both really good!! However, I do prefer Lindsey's, but that's just my opinion. (:

  • dont like it so much, but thats just my opinion

  • Excellent... A legend covering a classic....

  • Very well said!! Thanks for your comment!! (:

  • Hi Mate!! Do you think this is better than the original??

  • I wouldn't say better... Harrison's obviously is the ultimate. But Lindsey's is great, very very different to the original, but nice to hear...
