Velvet Dreams Studios has produced a pro video of high caliber. Without getting into the how's & why's of repair, this demo provides a close-up into the mechanics of tension arm performance. I have a BR-20 still unopened in it's original box that I purchased in 96. Also a Crown CX822-P4 that has no tension arms, but with 14 pounds of inch roller pressure! It's never stretched or broken tape. It's quite gentle with no brake shoes. Braking is by DC applied to it's AC motors with no spillage.
